 School For The Powers

If you think ordinary High School life is rough, well, it just means you haven’t attended Monvalle High, a power school for people who have powers. Now before I get really worked up into this rant let me just say, we do have to do math and science like the rest of the school population, but instead of a gym class we have a power class. In other words, we fight, we get dirt and further more the more bones you break the better off you are. This school was made to train warriors. 

Monvalle High, is not only a school for people who have gifts beyond the “norm” expectation, but it also houses students who have parents that are not mortal. Such as the children of Gods, vampires, demons, Werewolves and so on. This High School also begins when you are nine years old, and it goes all the way until you are twenty one. It is mandatory for students to live on campus, go to class daily, and when weekends arrive, go out and party.

It is a tall creepy place, that looks like it came right out of a Harry Potter movie. Im pretty sure J.K Rowling, got most of her idea of Hogwarts from this place. It had a certain beauty to it. Nature certainly had a stake here, since it was surrounded by a forrest and giant lakes.  But, don’t let the beauty fool you, in the forest there are terrible creatures inside, that would love to get a chance to eat you. 

Most of the people who come here, are rich snobs, who has parents that are too busy traveling or something. Unlike myself, my father, who is a vampire, likes to live a normal life. You see before he became a surgeon, my father was part of the power police force for over a hundred years. So sure, he has money, but we usually give it to those who need it, and keep little to ourselves so we can survive. My mother, who also was a vampire, that mysteriously disappeared six years ago, leaving me and my father to mourn over her. 

My father attended this school when he was a lot younger, so sent me to this school so I could grow up and find my way in life. He strongly believes that it is important that a person chooses their own destiny. 

However, there is just one problem with this, I am the only vampire at the academy, unlike when he attended, and Im not very well liked.
