Night - Ship

Kasey walked down the deck silently, crouching slightly, holding a seraph blade, using the walls as hiding, seeing piles of dead mundane bodies laying sprawled across the floor, kneeling next to a young man, looking at him in horror and sadness, shaking her head.

"Kase" She heard Lydia's voice behind her.

Kasey stood, turning around, pointing her blade at her "Nice trick. But a glamour can't fake the parabatai bond. I know you're not her" She growled angrily, slashing toward 'Lydia'. 'Lydia' took a step back to make her miss, raising a blade, slashing toward Kasey. Kasey dodged, jumping forward, rolling on the floor past 'Lydia', standing in a crouch, turning, punching her in the back of the knees, making her fall, standing, placing her blade on 'Lydia's' neck from behind, "Show your true form, asshole"

'Lydia' took a stele, hovering it over a rune. The glamour faded, revealing a man.

Valentine walked closer, clapping twice slowly "I had forgotten how strong the Parabatai bond used to be" Kasey looked at him, not taking her blade from the man's throat, "I was wrong about you. For a moment I underestimated you like most did to your mother" Kasey glared at him for mentioning Celine "Like her, you proved me wrong. Well done, my daughter"

"Don't call me daughter" Kasey told him.

Kasey pulled her blade away, stepping away from the man, seeing a line of blood in his neck where she pressed the blade, shocked and worried for what she did.

Valentine stood next to her, admiring her work "You almost killed him" Kasey dropped her blade, letting it clank on the metal floor, horrified. "Just because he faked to be your parabatai. Forget what I said. You are weak. This bond you have" He gestured at her, "Makes you weak. Love makes you weak"

"Having a Parabatai doesn't make you weak, it makes you strong" Kasey told him.

Valentine shook his head, "No. It doesn't. And when I realized this, it was too late. I got rid of the bond. Soon, you'll realize this too" Kasey shook her head. Valentine stepped closer, "And I'll teach this to you. You have a lot to learn and relearn, my daughter"

Valentine injected Kasey in the neck with a serum making her groan in pain, falling unconscious, catching her before she could touch the ground.

Elsewhere

Jace had his own trouble as well. Clay had somehow found a way inside the ship and he fought Valentine to protect Clary. Jace and Clary ran below deck away from some guards after Jace killed Valentine.

However, they came across another Valentine, shocking Jace. They fought for a few minutes before Jace stabbed him with his blade, pushing them both over the floor on the bottom of the ship.

Clary ran closer, leaning over the balcony, looking down in worry "Jace!"

Valentine 2 was lying on the floor dead, with the sword in his chest.

Jace stood slowly, panting, turning to Valentine 2's body, pulling his blade from Valentine 2's chest. He watched in confusion as Valentine 2 suddenly deglamoured, revealing a Circle member. Jace looked at him in horror and realization, looking around, seeing people in cages, growling and snarling.
