A Stone World: Senku x Oc (or reader)

Chapter 3

Sorry for the lack of updates! I have a new kitty and she needed a lot of attention for awhile

Asako POV

Thump Thump

Warmth. It had been a whole month since I had felt warm. Senku and I were doing our best but it was cold so even having him closer I guess really was helping.

Thump thump.

I was so comfortable I didn't want to wake it was so comforting.

Thump thump.

Why was my heart beating so loud? Wait that isn't my heart.......

Thump thump

I opened my eyes to be greeted by the glaring sun of the early winter morning blinding my sight before my eyes adjusted to everything around me.

Thump thump

I looked over to see Senku not in his original spot across from me but somehow over the night we had collided together for warmth with his arms enveloping me and my leg on top of his. My head was on his chest which was why I could hear the sound of his heartbeat slow and steady showing he was still sleeping. Suprisingly I was super comfortable despite our position. I didn't know whether to remove myself at the risk of waking him or stay as is and have him wake up to this awkward position. I decided to try for the first option as I slowly and carefully removed my leg from atop of his. Even though my movements were slow and minuscule he quickly reacted pulling me in tighter and groaning.

Shit.

Oh well I tried.

I now decided to do the opposite and snuggled hardcore into him then pretended to be asleep when he started stirring slightly waking up. I calmed myself as much as possible to mess with him. When he woke up stretching I could tell he was confused when his arm came back and was drapping over me. He must of opened his eyes because I felt him freeze a bit. But then threw his head back sighing.

"Wake up Asako. We have stuff to do today." He said trying to play it cool like a woman wasn't laying all over him but whatever I can play that game.

"But this pillow is so warm and squishy." I said grabbing a hard pectoral and squishing it.

"It is in no way squishy and you know it. Get off me." He said flatly and unamused as I chuckled against him rolling off him. "We have work to do let's get to it already." He said stretching as he got up off the ground. I knew he didn't want to talk about what had just transpired but I sooooooooooo enjoyed torturing him....but he was right.....

These few months ended up being similar. We wouldn't and couldn't do as much during the winter so it was all about keeping warm, alive and fed. At night we huddled together for warmth and eventually excepted our fate that it would be easier to just seek heat from each other then trying to be coy about it whatsoever. I enjoyed it though I couldn't lie and made sooooo many inappropriate jokes at every turn. If his hand was in the wrong place when we woke up morning wood, etcetra. But being with Senku was always comforting. He always seemed so calm and collected as well as almost evil and conniving when he got excited about something which in this world ever small victory brought him excitement. It was adorable. We enjoyed each other's company and worked together for several months until spring.

"Hey Asako can you go grab me the container of guano from the cave? I think our breakthrough with the Alcohol accelerant is going to work this time!" He said excitedly opening the door to yell from the lab.

"Sure thing I'll go grab it now and Check on Taiju as well." I yelled back grabbing my bow and arrow and my pack just in case i came upon any good food to shoot. "I'll be back soon and if I'm not I probably got eaten by a lion."

"Funny Joke Their's no lions in Japan." He yelled back I as waved leaving the camp.

Walking through the forest was always so peaceful and serene. The wind rustling through the trees and the small animals ruffling the bushes. It was a hard life for sure but it was still kinds nice to work for everything i had. Not that I wasn't used to that but still, with Senku around it was a definite change of pace that I appreciated. I had grown up in a very rich family although you would have never known looking at me. I didn't try to flaunt my parents money and always tried to have skills that grounded me like archery and marksmanship. I joked about needing it if the zombie Apocalypse ever occurred but well......this was close enough.

I walked through the rest of the woods until I got to the cave. The walk to the cave was luckily always pretty uneventful and sometimes I would be able to catch food. I quickly went into the cave and grabbed the container of guano and replaced it with another container. Hopefully it would be enough for Senku's experiment. I really wanted to see Yuzuriha and Taiju again soon.

"Speaking of Taiju." I said turning towards his stone statue. "How are you doing today-" I stopped dead in my tracks to look down and see Taijus statue broken out of with no Taiju anywhere in sight. "Taiju?!!!?!" I yelled out into the cave before putting the cap on the guano and running as fast as I could with the heavy pot of guano as not to spill bat shit all over myself. "TAIJU?!!!" I yelled out worried. He should have passed me at some point in the forest! I was running back to the camp when I saw a dark silhouette in the distance.

"Taij-!" I could even finish his name when he turned around looking at me in shock as I tripped over a branch throwing the container in the air! "Taiju you have to catch that!!!!" I yelled out as he simply ran for the container as I fell to the ground. He quickly  grabbed the container before it could hit the ground.

Thank fucking god.

I quickly got up running over to Taiju seeing him covered in vines covering his genitalia.

"Thank you so much Taiju!" I said happily as I took the container back from him.

"Not a problem!"He yelled with vigor. "What's going on?! Though everything looks different. Are you the only one here? How did this all happen." I smiled at him.

"Senku is here too. He's probably closer to camp. He sent me to get the liquid that was in the cave with you and when I turned around to check on you I hadn't noticed you were gone."

"Senku is here!" He yelled happily throwing his hands in the air in excitement. His happiness was always so contagious.

"Of course I'm here." Said a familiar voice in the trees. Taiju and I looked at Senku smirking up in the trees. "We have three out of the four back in action. Let's get to work. Get excited, we are about to reboot the earth.."
