Harry potter was an unusual boy. At age 6 he had a delicate frame that looked like he could snap in half at any second. But no, he was not abused, malnourished, or starved, he was very loved by his parents, Lily and James Potter. In fact right now Lily was fretting over her son's hair.
"This hair I swear, you better grow into my genes when you're older, Harry!" Lily said, clearly frustrated.
"Mum, you've been saying that as long as long as I can remember," Harry said, rolling his eyes. "Also, I have your red hair. Maybe you wouldn't have to deal with my hair if we maybe... don't go to the playdate." Harry asked suggestively.
"You're not getting out of this Harry James Potter." Lily told him, looking at Harry firmly.
Harry groaned. His mother wanted him to meet with these... people. He thinks they were called the Malfoys? He couldn't remember. They had a son his age, give or take a few months. Harry always had trouble with his playdates. They would come over and just stare at his unique appearance. He had silky, fluffy scarlet hair like his mother, but it was obnoxiously messy, like his father's. It wasn't long or anything, it went just past the halfway point of his ear. He didn't like it long, unlike some hairdressers that absolutely could not handle cutting his 'gorgeous locks' of hair short.
Besides his hair, he had beautiful green eyes that reminded people of forests. His eyes, again, were just like his mother's, maybe a bit darker because of James' brown eyes. His irises shined with youth, and people got lost in them. Harry always got annoyed because he would ask things like: "Want to play Wizard's chess?" and they would just nod dumbly, their eyes not leaving Harry's for even a moment.
By far, he only got on with one person, Luna Lovegood. She said nonsense about creatures named things like Wrackspurts and Nargles. One thing he liked about her, she didn't pay and mind to his looks. In fact her own looks rivaled Harry's. With beautiful strands of curly golden hair and dreamy cornflower blue eyes, she was definitely the most exquisite girl he had ever seen besides his mother.
Harry refused to play with any of the other kids again, save Luna. Lily never made him because she knew Harry was subdued and quiet, to put it nicely. To put bluntly, he was a straight up introvert. He was a quiet smart kid that usually sat in the corner at parties type of guy. And he was indeed very smart, reading about three 1st year Hogwarts books a day. Lily and James could tell Harry was extremely excited to go to Hogwarts, even if he tried to hide it.
"Do I hear my dear, definitely not scary wife giving Harry a lecture about going to the playdate?" James called from the hallway.
"Yes, James. Harry is indeed giving me a hard time about going to meet young Draco," Lily said fixing Harry in a you-better-not-try-and-agrue-with-me glare. Harry sighed. "Can we at least get it over with now?" He asked.
Lily huffed irritably and agreed. The three of them quickly went outside the Potter Manor to apparate

Draco Malfoy pouted at his father. "But father! You promised you would stop trying to set me up with kids!" He hissed with venom clear in his voice.
"Draco," He started quietly, his eyes searching around the room for anyone, specifically his wife. "Your mother forced me, and you know how she is." He finished looking actually depressed that his wife had control over him. Draco backed down at that, he did know how his mother was. Speaking of Draco's mother, Narcissa Malfoy chose that moment to come through.
"Are you ready, Dragon?" Narcissa asked.
"No, why are we having them over again?"
Narcissa knew her son did not like the other kids that came over when the adults sat and talked in the garden. But she hoped Lily and James' son would become good friends with Draco. Narcissa and Lily talked constantly, and Harry seemed like a good kid.
