Anika Blackwood's POV:
"Bye Mom!" I hollered as I snatched the bag containing only my phone, my pens, my lip gloss, two journals, and a shirt. It was close to empty, it was disorganized. I then rushed out of my beautiful house, I was blessed.
"Bye honey, I love you!" Mom called out, walking to the doorstep and waving. I then left a flying kiss, which I guess landed on the grass.
The school bus was about to rush until I cried "Wait!! I'm sorry, I know I'm a bit late." I said to the driver, who looked nice and he seemed to accept my apology. I was thankful for that, when things were going as I expected.
I went into the door. I expected the bus to be a little dirty, but it was surprisingly clean and fragrant as well. The pupils seemed nice, except for three girls, I assumed they were the three best friends or, partners in crime. They looked like mean girls. Also probably the popular ones in school. The most dashing one was the one in the middle. Blonde hair, fabulous attire, beautiful face (I guess she puts makeup on). I quickly found an empty seat, I walked slowly toward it. I sat down. Someone was beside me. He looked very charming, brown hair, cute smirk. I caught him eyeing on that girl. He was smiling while he watched the girl laugh mischievously. I guess that girl was backbiting someone. Once I caught them glaring at me once in a while while laughing with a lot of whispering, I figured out who they were laughing at. It was me. I didn't mind them at first, until the blondie stared at me absurdly. I couldn't help but stare back. "Hello." I said, trying to make friends. That made her stare even more weird. Now, I myself was the one who was staring strangely at her. She then flipped her hair turning back to her front view. Again, they whispered. I caught the hot guy staring at her while smiling cutely. I had to distract myself, though. I can easily have a crush on someone. I got my phone since it was my only distraction. (FYI, my phone is an iPhone 4S) I unlocked it. I checked my inbox. Woah! 14 messages. I think I left my phone silent for the whole night last night! It was my friend from my old school. We still keep on texting till now. I viewed them all. They were just Danielle's dumb messages saying "Wanna text?", "Call me maybe? I'm bored." And stuff like that. But the last one was quite interesting: "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I have five fingers, but the middle one's for you!
ANI PLS ANSWER MY TEXTS!!!"
That message seemed to be a new one, 7 secs ago. That's why I was feeling weird vibrations on my back. I quickly typed "Dane I'm busy. If you wanna text, text me at lunch. Don't you have classes yet?" I pressed the SEND button. I got a reply in 10 seconds. "Oh sorry I didn't mean to bother you. 😁😁😁 Yes, it's still our summer vacay, classes start next week." I didn't need to reply, and we were outside the campus' highway already, after the bus drive which felt like hours, which was only 7 minutes in my estimation. I shoved my phone into my pocket and finger-brushed my hair as I swept it to my sides. My hair is wavy. I fixed my hair. I swept the hair beside my forehead to the side, a lot like Rapunzel's hairstyle. (Picture)
I look a lot like her, except for my hair color, reddish-brown. She was my favorite princess since childhood. I have pretty long hair, up to my chest, I swear I'll never cut my hair short ever again. I look terrible in it. I tried it once and they all teased me in my old school.
