4) Introducing team 7

Kiada's POV

"he's late" I muttered to myself as I leaned against the railing, stupid Shifty I bet he's late on purpose just to annoy me. The cool wind blew softly through my hair making my feathers blow around.

 It has been two days since I got here and I spent most of it in the hospital recovering, now I stood waiting on the roof for Shifty to show up with my "team", but I've been waiting a few hours now... he better not have left me here.. I wonder what my team will be like..?

I fiddled with the head protector wrapped around my right arm, it was proof that I was now a Hidden Leaf ninja, I began to question my decision, I looked out at the village, could I really call this place home? It's going to be strange not moving around, and what if snake eyes comes looking for me here? I guess I can always change my mind and leave if I want to right? Furthermore it's concerning that they would let an outsider join their village so easily and to let them become a village ninja...

My thoughts were interrupted as I heard footsteps approaching from behind "YOUR LATE YOU SHIFTY SACK OF POTATO'S" I yelled as I spun around and pointed at him.

"Sorry I guess I told you the wrong time by accident" he smiled... Yer right

"I will get you back for this" i glared at him as hard as i could and was happy to find he looked slightly scared...good

My eyes settled on the three staring at me from behind him they all looked to be my age, and began to feel a bit embarrassed about my outburst, what a great first impression.

 The first was a boy with yellow hair and blue eyes with stripes across his cheeks, they kind of looked like whiskers, he wore an orange jacket and pants' he looked at me with a confused expression..I guess my insult wasn't very good I did just say the first thing that came to mind..

Then there was a pink haired girl with emerald eyes and a red dress, she seemed nice enough, and she looked just as confused by my presence as the blond haired guy.. did they know I was going to be on their team?

Lastly stood a taller boy with black hair and onyx eyes, he had on a blue shirt with the collar up and white shorts, he had his hands in his pockets and appeared to be bored, but his eyes glared down at me, I kind of feel unwelcomed here.. I guess they weren't told.

"Who are you?" the blond haired boy asked confusion filling his voice.

"She is a part of team 7 as well" Shifty spoke before I could.

"But sensei I thought there were only 3 Genin on a squad?" The pink haired girl questioned in a slightly annoying voice.

"Yes, well the Hokage has made a .... Special acceptation, now all of you take a seat" Shifty replied her not showing any kind of emotion in his voice, but I could tell he didn't particularly want to be here.

The three looked at me a moment longer before we all sat on the steps and faced Shifty, the girl was the furthest away sitting on the bottom step then the black haired boy on the top step followed by the yellowed haired boy on the middle step then me on the top step as well. Shifty looked at all of us for a bit before speaking.

"Now why don't you each introduce yourselves" he said sounding not all that interested. That's good I can learn a bit about my team that way, which should make things easier.

"Introduce ourselves? What are we supposed to say? The pink haired girl asked

"Things you like, things you hate, dreams for the future, hobbies, things like that" he explained to her.
