"I can't believe my little girl is moving out!" Sabine pulled Marinette into a big hug, tears starting to roll down her face.

"Mom! You know how it is, it's time for me to be independent." Marinette hugged her mom back, rubbing her back in circles. Marinette unhooked her arms that were around her mother," I promise I will come and visit anytime that I can!" Marinette turned around, and went and gave her dad a hug. She wrapped her arms around him as far as she could, getting comfortable in his arms.

"I'm so proud of you Marinette!" Tom said in between sobs. He tried so hard not to cry, but the tears fell anyway. They stayed in their embrace for a few seconds before pulling away. Marinette wiped her eyes and grabbed the rest of her stuff. She walked over to her car and opened the back seat, putting her laundry in the back.Closing the door of the car, she took one last glance at her parents. Remembering all of the memories she had with them. Marinette ran back over to her parents and gave them one last hug. After what felt like hours, she pulled away and walked over to the car. She climbed into the drivers side and turned on the car. She waved at her parents, and put the car in reverse.

While watching her childhood memories go behind her, Marinette got excited about the memories she will make on her own. The future could hold absolutely anything, and that's all Marinette could think about. Marinette turned on the radio, and instantly started singing along. After just a few songs, she arrived at her apartment. Marinette got out of the car and looked at the tall building. Just realizing that this was her new home. Why was she scared? It wasn't even a full hour away! She pulled her two suitcases full of her clothes and started for the apartment complex.

Once she set her bags down by the door of her new apartment, she pulled out her phone and took a selfie, pressed send, and assured her parents that she was not kidnapped by some stranger and made it there safe. 20 minutes into adulthood and she was already texting her parents. Kind of comical.

She looked around at the empty space. It wasn't that big, but yet not tiny. She peered down a small hallway that was located on her left, checked out the kitchen, and her new bedroom. She sighed to herself, definitely feeling a bit overwhelmed, and decided to text her best friend Alya. She would help right?

Hey alya. Feeling a bit overwhelmed. Any words of wisdom for me?

That should be ok right? Ugh. Texting your friends shouldn't be hard but for some reason she was totally anxious over it. Her phone pinged right after sending it. That was fast.

Don't overthink it girl! you have a tendency to do that ya know!

She knew. She knew all too well. Marinette shoved her phone back in her pocket and headed back out to her car for the rest of her belongings.

It took about an hour, but she finally lugged all her junk up to the third floor. She would probably need to make a trip to the furniture store later because her apartment was still VERY empty. Not to mention, she didn't have a bed yet. And that is a very essential piece of furniture. Very essential.

Although she had barely moved in, Marinette decided she needed a good breath of fresh air to calm her nerves. It couldn't hurt to get to know the area from below. Because, of course she had seen just about everything as ladybug, but that's from the rooftops.

As soon as she walked out the glass doors of the apartment complex, she realized a nice, peaceful walk would not be the best choice. She could practically smell the akuma nearby, all the negative energy and power. And sure enough, she already saw Chat hopping rooftop to rooftop in response.

After transforming, Ladybug met Chat up on the rooftop he was perched upon.

"Whats going on this time?"

"I dont think its anything serious. Just a pretty general, run of the mill, normal akuma attack. "

Chat sounded pretty defeated. And tired.

"You ok, Chat? You seem really exhausted."

"Does it show that bad?" He gave a half-hearted smile.

She chuckles, "Lets get this done and then we can talk. Alright?"

He nods in agreement and they hurry off to do some damage control.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Gotcha! Good bye little butterfly!" I opened my yoyo setting the butterfly free.

Chat was right. Truthfully the same old boring thing happens. Akuma attack, who always wants our miraculous's, which we fight and defeat. Pretty standard procedure.

After their big battle, Chat and Ladybug found themselves on the Eiffel tower, gazing into the distance.

"You still want to talk?" Chat nodded his head, not saying a word.

"M'lady, do you ever feel like you don't know who you truly are?" Ladybug looked at Chat, unable to answer that question.

"Do you ever feel that your not who you truly could be?" He frowned and looked at the ground. Ladybug put a hand on his shoulder, hoping to give the cat some comfort.

"Are you asking whether I know who I am, when I'm not the superhero Ladybug?" Being honest, she didn't know who she was either. It seemed as though the both heros, didn't know who they were.

"Its sounds like you have the same catastrophe, m'lady."

"It seems like it," she moved her hand and repositioned it underneath her chin. Ladybug and Chat both zoned out, just grateful to have each others company. Chat moved his hand till it was on top of Ladybugs. She grasped his hand, and squeezed it really tight, not wanting to let go of that moment.

"We should find out who we really are Chat, so we can actually sleep at night," she chuckled slightly, relieving the mood.

"I totally agree bugaboo," Chat gripped their intertwined hands slightly, giving Ladybug reassurance. Ladybug looked up at the stars and just couldn't happen to wonder. What would her life have in store for her, if she wasn't Ladybug. Chat looked at Ladybug and couldn't help smiling. He looked up too, and got lost in the shimmering stars. After what felt like hours, he stood up unleashing their hold.

"I got to get home, before someone sends a search party," he said while taking one last look at the stars, "Thanks for talking m'lady," Chat jumped off the Eiffel tower and headed toward the busy streets of Paris. She watched him jump throughout the city till he disappeared.

Ladybug stood up and went toward her new apartment, replaying everything that happened that night. After going through a window, she transformed turning into her normal self. She walked over to mirror in the bathroom, and looked at her reflection. Marinette sighed and pulled out her toothbrush, and started brushing her teeth. She felt as if something was off, that nothing seemed right. She moved over to her bedroom, and totally forgot she didn't have a bed. Marinette groaned and found a comfortable spot on the ground. She fluffed her pillow, and laid down a few of her blankets. She laid down that night with one thing on her mind.

Determination to find who she really was, without her spots.
