Harry: I can't keep this a secret anymore.
Draco: Harry... you know I love you... But does the whole world need to know that I love you??
Harry: It's not the whole world..
Draco: You're the bloody Harry Potter!! Everyone knows you!
Harry: I just wanna be with you. And that's all I wanted, you know? And I want the world to know I'm happy.
Draco: (whispers to himself) But then everyone will know that I love you...
Harry: And that's something bad?
Draco: I didn't mean it like that... I'm so sorry...
Harry: Don't be. Just... don't. I know you're sorry.
Draco: Yes... I'm sorry, please, can we just stay in my room and... be more careful? Just... be less careless? I promise you, just keep out of sight, okay?
Harry: Okay.
Draco: And I'll see you next week, alright?
Harry: Okay.
Draco: And... I love you.
Harry: Can we just stay here for a little bit?
Draco smirked and Harry couldn't ignore Draco's smirk. Harry knew they weren't even compatible, because well not so long ago he thought Draco was just the sort of twisted, selfish little bastard, but Harry admired his intelligence even before all this to happen. And well, later his lips, his arms, and pretty much everything about him...his smile, his eyes...his mouth.
"Oh, God," Harry breathed out, then reached up to try and massage his eyes. He pulled his head around in time to see a soft smile stretch the skin of Draco's face. Harry sighed, and just let himself be drawn to Draco's smile, and was pleased to discover that it did indeed work. He smiled, too. And when Draco pulled his eyes from Harry's smile, there was a hint of relief in Draco's eyes too.
"Hey, that's nice," Harry said softly, pulling the two of them closer together.
"Let me...let me hold your hand," Harry said, looking between the two of them.
"Oh," Draco said, nodding and put his hand into Harry's. He leaned forward, looking into Harry's eyes. Harry didn't wanted to get distracted. This feeling was too great.
They held each other, breathing in and out slowly, until their hearts were racing, and they were smiling at each other. They leaned in and kissed, slow but steady. It felt so different from the kiss Harry had given Neville, but he didn't mind. It just felt so good.
As the last of their breaths left the air, they kissed, long and deep, as if the words themselves were a memory they'd just been able to relive.
