Kryllen stands smiling casually as if he isn't holding us all at gun point; A weapon in each of his hands.

When I pictured meeting this man, I pictured an old, disgusting, mentally ill man. I'm seeing everything I expected except this look of utter death. He seems in worse of a condition than Darius.

He's extremely pale and sweaty with dark circles around his eyes. I'd bet money the grim reaper is standing next to him right now.

"This is such a pleasant surprise," he grins. "I figured you'd be in here. I have to admit little alpha, I am impressed. I thought daddy was going to have to take over for you."

"You still doubt femmes, Kryllen?" I muse. "When I'm finished with you, you're going to wish it was my father you pissed off."

"You have heart; I'll give you that," he chuckles, making me angrier than I already am. He doubts my abilities to lead simply because I am female. That way of thinking has been forgotten by most and it needs to cease once and for all along with his life.

"It seems you forget that I am indeed an alpha and your equal?" I smirk, knowing that mentioning us as equals will piss him off.

"Quiet or I will put a bullet in your mouth!" he hisses. I smile, knowing I've succeeded in upsetting him.

"You must be the baby's daddy, Straton," he looks at Bryce. "That is your name right? Or is that a lie too?" he teases. I see he's done his homework.

"Finally doing your duty to the little bastard," he comments with a laugh. "How upset were you when you learned what she did?"

I see his game. He's wants to get us riled up and upset so that either of us will make a futile attempt to attack him. Poor guy...we're smarter than that.

"You better watch your mouth," Bryce retorts.

"I think I'm the only one in the position to offer threats."

"I think you look like you should've kicked the bucket already but I guess the Goddess saved that job for me," I take a step forward but was immediately pushed back by both my boyfriend and mate.

He laughs but it suddenly turns into nasty coughs. Damn, is he sick or what?

"Oh, shut up you little weak bitch!" he growls angrily, making me clutch my own gun. A trickle of blood rolls down his lip and he wipes it off with his sleeve.

"Weak?" I question. "If I flick you on the head you'd likely fall to hell with the condition you're in," I tease him, making the guys snicker.

"You and your sickening little family will not make it out of here alive," he grunts, waving me off.

"You won't kill them," Adarian speaks up. "I won't let you."

"How about I kill you too then," he growls. "For escaping and becoming a damned traitor!"

"You won't," he says firmly, taking bold steps towards Kryllen. I look over at him in confusion but his attention is solely focused on Tad. His expression shifts and turns almost as dark as the man's in front of us.

"Stop," he orders him. "I will shoot you all," he fixes his grip on both guns. One pointed at Adarian and the other pointed towards Bryce, Xavier, and I.

"My parents told me everything after I freed them. I know the truth and I'm quite disgusted," he hisses.

Shock took over Tad's face and if I'm not mistaken...fear. I'm not sure but if it was there, he sure covered it up quickly.
