Jisung looked out of the window, hoping that he would get a glimpse of him. The blue haired boy that always used to hang out in the skate park besides the ice rink.

He wasn't there.
No group of friends playing on the ramps. No worn out sneakers, or teens wearing beanies underneath their hoods. No blue haired boy on his skateboard.

"Charlotte Bunce is back from England." His sister Jihae's voice pulled him out of his thoughts. They always picked her up on the way to drop Jisung off.
She had her skates around her neck, and the big blue and white bag over her shoulder. She didn't pack them down because she wanted to show off. She always wanted to show off.

"Is she any better?" His mum started the car.
"She learned a few new jumps, but I'm still easily the best." She brushed some of her baby hairs out of her face.
"Don't get cocky, you still have to work hard." His mum's voice was strict, it always was.
"Whatever. Why are you so quiet?" Jihae looked at Jisung.
"We're getting info about the new performance today." Jisung sighed.
"You always get lead male, what are you worried about."
"I'm worried it's the swan lake or Don Quixote again, I could do the choreography in my sleep." Jisung huffed, thinking back at the thousands of times he'd done the same two performances.
"I refuse to watch any of those again. I've seen you do them enough times to do it myself." Jihae groaned.
"Don't complain, I'm sure they'll do something else this year." Their mum said strictly, driving out of the parking lot.

The dance studio wasn't more than a five minute drive away from the ice rink, and Jisung was more than familiar with the way there.
He had been going to the same studio since he was little, Twilight Dance Studio. Two lessons a day (three in performance season), from six to eight, and then from five to eight. But Jisung being Jisung, he spent as much time as possible practising by himself too. He knew he was the best dancer in the studio, but if he was ever going to be able to move in from ballet, he knew he had to show his parents that he had completely mastered the style (not that that is really possible.)
It wasn't that Jisung didn't like ballet, because he absolutely loved it, but he really wanted to try something else. He had grown up seeing the hip hop performances (they only thought Ballet and Hip Hop there). And he just thought it looked so magical. There was no completely right way to do it, you could do it in your style. And Jisung wanted that.

"Romeo and Juliet!" Felix, one of Jisung's best friends, jumped up excitedly as he walked in the practice room.
"What?"
"We're setting up Romeo and Juliet!" Felix jumped again, making his blonde hair stick up like a mad scientist.
"Seriously?" Jisung looked over at the dance teacher, hoping that his blond haired friend was telling the truth. She looked at him, before making her way towards the two of them.

"I'm counting on you two to lead this, we're setting up a risky performance, and you two are the only ones I trust." She crossed her arms. She was the owners daughter, just a few years older than Jisung and Felix, and extremely tiny. She had her hair up in a tight ponytail, and for some reason, she always had one pant leg down, and the other tucked up around her knee.
"What's risky about it? It's Romeo and Juliet." Jisung asked, confused at her wondering expression.
"We're teaming up with the hip hop elite team." She sighed, making both Jisung and Felix look at her in shock.
"I'm counting on you to take the lead Jisung, we've already decided that you're Romeo. Kim Najin is playing Juliet, please try to get along with her."
"Who?"

"Me!" While they had been talking, the room had filled up, not only with the usual Ballet elite team, but also what Jisung expected was the hip hop team.
Najin was pretty. Long black hair, fair skin, and big eyes. Unlike most of the ballet dancers with long hair, it seemed like the hip hoppers liked having it loose.

"You're Jisung, I know, I've seen you dance before. I can't wait to dance with you." She smiled, she didn't mean it, but Jisung appreciated that she was at least pretending. Jisung took her hand.
"The pleasure is on my side." He smiled back at her, he couldn't be bothered sounding genuine. He wasn't.

"I don't think he likes us." A male voice came from behind him.
"Shut up Minho, nobody likes it." Someone shut him down.
"I'm pleasantly surprised, you aren't throwing a fit." The same male voice said, he was taking directly to Jisung, and when he turned around, he couldn't help to be surprised.
Bright blue hair.
"Oh." Jisung whispered, looking at the boy with big eyes.
"Never seen someone with dyed hair before? Is it too improper for you?" He mocked.
"No, of course I've seen dyed hair before. It looks great on you." Jisung smiled before turning around to look at the dance teacher again.

"Let's begin." He said calmly, making sure no one could see the panic in his eyes.
