He spoke "Abigail... Abby...". Abby spoke "That's me, um...how am I related to you". Anton spoke "I am your uncle, your father was my brother, and your mother was my sister in law". Abby was surprised "Oh okay". He was surprised as much as she was "Abby, I thought I would never see you again, the last time I saw you, you were right years old". Abby spoke "Why didn't you take me in, after my mother died?". Anton spoke "I couldn't do that, I was in so much morning after your mother, and I couldn't do her justice...". Abby spoke again "If you want to see me I am in Louisiana". Anton spoke "I am coming right now, I will see you and I want to get to know you and answer any questions that I can".

Abby was surprised "Thank you Anton, I will see you soon...". Anton replied "Can't wait". Abby disconnected the phone. Abby put her phone down on the table. Liz spoke "What did he say?". "He wants to see me..." Abby explained. "He is coming to Marais". Liz spoke "Okay, now what?". Abby laughed "I don't know, but at least I have family, I really need this". Liz spoke "I know". Abby sighed "It's late, we should go to sleep". Liz smiled "Yes we should". Abby grabbed her box and went into her bedroom, and Liz went into her own room. Abby changed into her pyjamas, and she shut her eyes and she kept thinking about her family and Alec. She loved Alec, but she could never say it to him, because he doesn't feel the same way. She then shut her eyes, and her slumber began.

Abby woke up with a message from Anton. It explained that he is in Marais, and he living in a rented house. Abby rose out of bed, and brushed her teeth, and had a shower. She put on a grey jumper and a black pair of jeans, and wore a pair of ankle boots. She grabbed her bag and walked into the kitchen, and saw Liz. She spoke "Are you going to be okay?". Abby spoke "I should be, I mean he is family". Liz nodded "Take care of yourself". Abby smiled "You know I will". She exited the house, and sat in her car. She drove away to the address her uncle had sent her. She had so may questions to ask, but has a small amount of doubt as well.

After a while, she arrived at the house. She saw a tall man with dark hair, his skin pale, and his eyes were a dark brown. He voice was slightly deep, but stern as well. "Abigail..." He was surprised. Abby spoke "I go by Abby now". Anton spoke "Of course...". There was a moment of silence. Abby looked up and down at him, she was almost hesitant, but she gave a small smile. Anton sighed "Come inside". Abby stepped into the house. He guided her to the sofa. Abby spoke "How did you get here so quickly?" She questioned. Anton replied "I have very close friends who get me to places I need to go". Abby nodded "So it doesn't have to do with part that you are rich". Anton sighed "I am, which our family's wealth, which of course your wealth as well".

Abby added "I don't care about that, I have my own questions which I have waited over twenty years to have answered". Anton spoke "And I will try and answer them as best as I can, but of course I have questions for you". Abby sighed "So let's get started then". Anton smiled "I hope you are is as interested as I am". Abby questioned him first "Why didn't you come looking for me?". Anton replied "I didn't know where to start looking, your mother took you when your were very young". Abby added "Why didn't my mother tell me about you?". Anton replied "I have no idea, you were only a child when she died". Abby looked down, she knew the answers to the questions, she was asking. She was asking stupid questions, and she hated herself for it.

Anton spoke "You work at the CDC, and you are doctor...". "...I guess it runs in the family". Abby spoke "What are you a doctor of?". Anton replied "I work with biology mainly...I work with mutagens". Abby froze, that was just like Alec. Maybe she could help him. Abby spoke "I knew a friend who was a biologist, he works with mutagens as well". Anton replied "Where is he?". Abby sighed "He's not around anymore". Anton was blunt "Dead!". Abby spoke "No, not dead just not around". Anton spoke "Sorry...I just assumed". Abby spoke "Well he is sick, and his condition is unique". Anton spoke "I can take a look at him if you want, or we could go to a hospital". Abby felt nervous.

Abby stammered "He...he won't go to hospital, because they can't do anything". Anton sighed "I see...". Abby looked at Anton, and he looked at her. "...so there is no harm at me taking a look is there". Abby sighed "Okay, I will take you to him, but you cannot tell anyone about his condition". Anton smiled "You have my word". Abby sighed "I still have questions...". Anton spoke "I know you do, and we still have time to answer them". He grabbed her hand "Abby I want you to trust me, and I want you to be a part of my life again...". He carried on "You are the only family I have left, and...". Abby was stern "...and what?". Anton started to cry "Nothing, you are just the spitting image of you mother". Abby started to cry as well.

Abby had only met the man, but she felt like she could trust him straight away. He was charismatic and charming. She wanted to trust him, and wanted to get to know him.  Abby sighed "I can take you to him now". Anton's eyes widen "Okay, lead the way...". Abby spoke "We will go to his lab, and then I will look for him" she added. Abby stood up and grabbed her bag, and Anton grabbed his keys, and they both left the house. They drove back to Liz's place. They entered the house. Liz left a message on the table sayi g that she started her late shift at the bar. Abby walked into her room and gave the necklace to Anton to explained that was her family's necklace and how she should keep it. Anton helped Abby put it, and they both made there way outside towards the boat.
