"Loki?" Ley called out loud enough for her voice and clipping boot heels to reveebirate against any nearby forms of solid mass. "Loki where are you we have to get this show on the road."
Loki's brain dead minions continued their assigned tasks, and no reply was made as she continued to clip clop through the halls.
Ley scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"Absolute worthless piece of-"
"Looking for someone?"
Ley almost legitimately jumped out of her skin as an alluring, feminine voice breathed into her ear. Even for the assassin she was, she didn't hear anything or anyone approach from behind, the side, above her, or below her.
She spun, the knife at her hip now grasped in her hand as she held it to the woman's neck, but the woman's delicate hand gripped Ley's hand with a grip of steel.
Ley's eyes Lazer focused in on the woman's own eyes: a cold blue, with thick lash's. Her lips were a natural pink, cheek bones high and alluring. Her brows were a light honey brown, and her golden hair was in an elegant updo.
"Who the f-"
The woman chuckled at Ley's question.
"You don't seem to like my new look, elf."
Ley's eyes narrowed, and then -
The woman winked at her.
Ley gasped, "No-"
"Oh, yes," she grinned, and released Ley's wrist, took a step back, and held her arms out. "what do you think? Won't Shäfer find me oh-so-irresistable?"
If Ley's mouth couldn't hang any lower, her jaw was like a Python's when it eats a tiger.
This woman before her twitched her hands a bit, in a small attempt to get Ley to respond.
"Well?"
"Loki-"
"I'll be using the name 'Freya' tonight, mortal," Freya beamed.
Ley raised an eyebrow. "is that so?"
"You don't question me," Freya said. "I question you. Now," she continued, and gave a sort of half spin in her long, gold gown. "Do you think this gown is too modest?"
Ley uncomfortably looked Freya up and down, her eyes cascading down her healhy breasts and soft curves.
"Loki," Ley shuddered. "This is too weird."
"How is this too weird?" Freya partially snapped.
"Because you're not... you're..."
"What?" Freya pressed.
"I don't know!" Ley exclaimed. "I'm confused and scared and quite frankly, I can't talk to you when you look like that, you look to...nice."
Freya paused for a moment. She knew the persona she was taking on was that of the kindest woman in his life. She just didn't know if he would do it justice.
Loki was relieved he did.
"Ley," Freya took a step forward, and sighed. "this is part of the mission. If you feel this is going to be a distraction to you, then by all means put on a dress and frollic with Shäfer. But if you do that, and you snap on him like I know you would, and we loose this opportunity, then I'll actually end your puny existence and I'll suffer the consequences alone. How does that sound to you?"
"It sounds like I'm actually going to rip your eyebrows off your face if you speak to me like that again."
"Fantastic," Freya smiled. "I'm very glad we've reached an agreement." She offered the crook of her arm for Ley, who subconsciously took it. "Trust me though, this is not the weirdest thing I've had to do. Would you like to hear about the time I turned into a horse, mated with a horse, and gave birth to a horse with eight legs?"
Ley gasped and pushed Freya far away from her before storming off down the hallway, holding out her middle finger to the smartly dressed woman.
Freya caught herself, brushed a few stray hairs back into place, and called after her-
"This isn't weird! Even Thor had to disguise himself as a woman once! Our mother!"
"I wish I'd never met you!" Ley's voice reverberated back to Freya.
Freya huffed, and kicked a broken piece of concrete floor with the toe of her shoe.
"Well it's true," she mussed. "but I pull it off better."
