Sorry this prologue sucks. After I finish this book I will fix it. You should skip it.
I sat on the side of a river. Looking into the unknown other side. No one had gone to the other side and lived to tell about it. Not even his father. As he sat next to the river he had idea to find a friend.
No one knew what power this boy held inside him. Not even himself. It didn't look like it but he was more powerful than almost anyone in his town.
He was a boy with dark blue eyes and dark brown eyebrows. His nose was smaller than normal. His hair was brown and looked like messy bunch of fur. He was a smaller boy 4.7 feet tall at age 11 and weighed 70 pounds.
Not strong or powerful physically. But in other ways he was extraordinary. Easily more powerful than the normal man.
In a few minutes I found a boy named Troff and a girl named Stalin. Troff was about the opposite of me a big strong guy. He had brown eyes and brown hair. Stalin was a shy girl afraid to fallow her dream.
Over the next year we became good friends. Over time strange things happened. Stalin would get mad and the ground would split. I would hide behind a rock and they would never find me even if they were right above me. Troff could double his speed and strength for short periods of time. We had no clue what was going on until the first year of school.
Looking weak and powerless for my whole life I was made fun of many many times. Luckily I had Troff as a friend. Over time people would wonder how I had disappeared into thin air. I always had the same answer. What are you talking about?
As time went by I got more surprises. Troff started this thing that we were lost wizards. Of course no one thought this was true. Somehow these stories become a big deal and started getting spread outside of school. Than one day a man with a long black coat and grey eyes told the three of us to come with him.
At first we thought we were in trouble for something. Soon it was clear not that we were in trouble, but we were had a chance of being the three lost children of Noham. We all were so surprised that Stalin made the ground split open under me.
As soon as Troff realized he doubled his speed and grabbed my hand and pulled me up. I was so embarrassed that I wanted to disappear. Soon I heard a scream and I heard Stalin say", were did he go?!?"
It a minute I heard the man say it is you. We all looked at him and than looked at each other. Than back back at him. Than he said follow me and we left the school.
Life was harder to understand from that point on. Hard work was the main thing though.
Over the next three months we had to learn to use our skills. I found this very hard because by power is to disappear. To do this I had to think that I wanted to disappear. Not easy when you are having a great time. I finally learned the trick and I was soon ready to fight.
Stalin also had trouble. To do her special power she had to think of the energy around her and use a small amount of it to force other types of energy to move. We had to spear often and Stalin was almost never able to beat me.
Troff had an easy time. All he needed to do was think I need to be more powerful. The only problem is he can only use it occasionally. Otherwise all of his energy would disappear and he would not be able to fight any more.
One day we heard our teacher, Mr.Turin, talking to someone about a tournament. We knew we had to enter even if we lost we would have had a fun day.
As time went by it turned out that I had a second gift. I was a Turnimost. The Turnimost people were people that could go from on spot to the other in a split second as long as I was on bare ground.
This was helpful when I blocked attacks. Only every once in a while I would get hit. This what made me the strongest out of the three.
Over time we started taking roles. I was the mastermind behind everything. Troff was the main fighter. Last Stalin was the brain. She always knew what to do and when.
Lesson after lesson we learned about what felt like everything. Stalin enjoyed it but Troff and I had a hard time staying awake. At the end of the training we took a test. Stalin got 100%, Troff got 57%, and I got a 64%.
Over time we heard about a new tournament coming to a nearby town. We all had the same idea. Do you want to test your strength?
