Doors #1

"Donna hurry up!" the doctor shouted

"alright alright keep your hair on I'm coming!" She called back

Donna jogged up to the skinny figure with his hands in his pockets

"so what's all this about? all these doors I mean"Donna asked pointing at the door

"read the labels" the doctor stopped walking

"frontios....what's that then?" Donna asked confused

"it's a planet in the Veruna, very sandy bit windy too"

"yeah but what's it doing on there" Donna tapped the door

"I'm not sure yet" he carried on walking

"look it's alphabetical it says Galaxis Bright now!" Donna exclaims saying the word slow"

"so it does..." the doctor speeds up his pace passing another door then comes to a stop, he faces the door with wide eyes

"what are you stari-" Donna stops and stares at the door

"does that say what I think it's says?..."

"Gallifrey" the doctor whispers

"but that's your planet isn't it?" she questioned

"yes it was" was all he said

he holds the screwdriver up to the door handle and unlocks it. The door clicks and slowly opens. He walks in to a small room lit by a green light  in the centre is a glass case reaching to the ceiling. Lying on the bottom of the case curled up in a ball wearing nothing but bandages wrapped around her chest area and her bottom was a girl. Her long blonde hair covered her face.

"doctor...why is there a girl in a box?" Donna asks panicking

"impossible" he breathed

"what is?what is she doing here?"

"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry"he placed his hand on the glass

"millions of doors with names of millions of planets...all full of different species"

"but why?" Donna asks getting frustrated

"let's find out" the doctor taps his fist against the glass

"hello! you awake?"

the figure moves groans,  pushes herself up and flips her long hair back revealing a beautiful face, she had dark brows and ember coloured eyed. She starred at them in shock backing up to the opposite wall of the case

"it's alright" Donna said quickly holding out her hands "we're not dangerous my name's Donna" she begins to crouch down so she's at level with the girl who doesn't look much younger than them.

"why are you here?" the girl whispers "you can't be here! you have to leave if he finds you he-" she stops mid sentence obviously saying something she shouldn't have

"he'll do what?"the doctor bends down now

"he'll get mad" she answered sitting up some more

"who will get mad" Donna asked gently

the girl looked up opened her mouth to say something but before she could they heard a voice

"Oh visitors! How lovely" a man wearing a white coat and leather trousers grinned at them, he had white hair with black strands in it, his boots clicked on the ground as he walked towards them

"although there are many other places we could have met than in here" he said rather cheerfully

"who are you?"Donna questioned. The man looked at her with wide eyes for a second before smirking and walking towards her.

"my my my....what a beautiful creature"he lifted his hand and stroked her cheek "what name should I call such an angel?"

"Donna but you still haven't-"

"Donna what a fine name for a fine woman" he interrupted "I am the collector" he kissed her hand and bowed "but you may call me whatever you want"he winked

"alright that's enough of that" the doctor broke them up "answer me this -collector is it? why have you locked up all these species? what possibly could they be to you?" the doctor asked very agitated

The collector leaned forward and whispered "a hobby"

"what the hell you on about a hobby!" Donna shouted

"well you see I had always been amazed by creatures, so different so..." he stoked the tank the thin girl was sitting in "beautiful. This one is my favourite, my most prized possession because she's the only one...and I have her OR so I thought" the collector whipped his head round and starred at the Doctor

"so it's true then? This girl is a timelord" the doctor stated calmly but his eyes burned in anger

"yes doctor but you see. I was rather proud having the only timelord in existence but then you came along and killed my fun so..." the man pulled out a small oval white remote with a purple button in the middle

"I'm going to have to kill you" he pressed the button and immediately the girls eyes turned white and she stood up straight.

"you know what to do my gem, but keep the girl...i don't have a human in my collection yet" the collector said walking out the room

The case lifted itself up and into a hole in the ceiling leaving the room empty apart from the doctor, Donna and the female timelord

"my apologies...Doctor but I must do as commanded" the girls voice had changed to an almost robotic tone

"Donna step outside for a minute" the doctor asked not looking away from the girl

"and leave your in here with her? Not bloody likely" she argued

"Donna trust me" he pleaded still not taking his eyes off of the timelord

Donna looked from the girl to the doctor then nodded slightly and walked outside of the cell

"you don't have to do this" the doctor edged forwards slowly

"but I must" the girl swung her leg and sent the doctor flying into a wall which he hit with a thud

"no no you don't! You're under the influence of mind control just try to fight it" he shouted

But the girl didn't listen she grabbed the doctors coat and held his against the wall lifting him off the ground

"use the screwdriver , hurry up" the girl said the doctor grinned and pulled out his sonic and held it the the small bolt in the girls neck . She then collapsed on the floor dropping the Doctor , who scurried over to her

"Hey come on wake up"he tapped her cheek "Donna you can come in now! wakey wakey , Donna get in here" the girls eyes opened slowly and widened when she saw the doctor

"ah" she quickly punched him in the jaw "oh crap I'm sorry I'm sorry are you ok?" she apologised sitting up hands on the doctors cheeks

"you just punched me?!" the doctors voice went quite high pitched

"I know I'm sorry does it hurt?"

"yes it bloody hurts you just punched me" he complained holding his Jaw

"alright it can't have hurt that much come on" she crossed her arms

"why did you punch me?" he asked still high pitched

"you scared me" she stood up and held out her hand for the doctor

"I scared you? you were trying to kill me a minute ago" he took her hand and she pulled him up

"that was ages ago, where's your friend?" she asked looking around

"Oh I told her to wait outside" he gestured to the door

"you absolute idiot!" she exclaimed running out the door

"what'd I do now?" he called following her out the room to see Donna was no where to be found "oh dear"

"come on" the doctor saw her by a ventilation shaft on the wall "open it then"

"you have got to be joking" he shook his head walking towards her
