Happy Ending

Arriving at the cafe entrance, I stopped short, hands suddenly sweaty with nervousness. How would the group react when they know that we are together? Will they support us?? Chan seems to sense my anxiety as he gave my hand a reassuring squeeze, smiling at me softly.

"Don't be scared. You have got me with you."

I gave him a wry smile. "I'm quite weird right? I know we are all friends but I'm still scared of their reactions."

Chan shooked his head, bringing our enterwined hands to his lips and kissed my knuckle softly.

"It's okay to be nervous. I am actually feeling pretty nervous too."

Feeling his soft lips move against my knuckle as he speak bring a blush to my face.

"Stop it"

Chan tilted his head, lips turning up in a teasing smile.

"Stop what?" He asked, turning our interwined hands and planted a kiss on my wrist, his eyes never leaving my face.

Blood flushed to my face as i tried to wriggle my hand out of his grasp.

"Let me go, you stupid idiot! You know what im trying to say!"

He chuckled and tightened his grip, his smile getting wider.

"Okay okay i will stop. Lets go in. Its getting cold out here"

I looked at the cafe entrance, feeling the anxiety from before returning. I took a deep breath and squeezed Chan's hand.

"Ok lets do this."

Entering the cafe, we immediately found them sitting at our usual corner at the right side. Its a corner right at the back of the cafe, behind 2 potted pants with 2 rectangular table connected together, away from the other customer's line of sight.

Seems like no one has noticed us yet, i thought, looking at how everyone was huddling in the middle and talking in whispers.

"Are you ready?" Chan asked.

I let out a sigh. "Its now or never. Lets go."

Chan gave me a reassuring smile before walking towards the group.

"What are you guys doing?" Chan and I asked, approaching the group.

Everyone immediately jumped apart, panic evident in their faces. Mingyu jumped away so fast, he hit his head against the wall with a loud thump. Seokmin and Seungkwan let out a an inhumane scream, causing Minghao to flinch and knock off his drink, spilling all the content onto Soonyoung.

"N-n-nothing!" They squeaked in unison, smiling awkwardly at us.

I narrowed my eyes, eyeing every single one of them slowly.

"I dont think that was nothing at all."

Seungkwan laughed awkwardly. "You are thinking too much. Come come, take a seat." He gestured towards the 2 empty seats. "We left seats for you cause you two was taking too long like excuse me why were you late?" Like what makes you think you two can come waltzing in hand in hand late and think you can get away with it?"

Seungkwan suddenly stopped mid-rambling, his eyes widening as he processed his own words. His gaze immediately dropped to our enterwined hands.

I instinctively tried to move my hands away but Chan's grip on my hand is tight. He is looking at the group with a smug grin on his face and lifted our hands up.

Everyone gaped. Seungkwan's mouth hung open and his nostrils is flaring.

"OH MY GODDDDDD!!"

Seungkwan screeched, followed by the rest. Choruses of "oh my god", "finally" (a really loud "my baby is all grown up and he is going to leave me" from Jeonghan") and "when" was flooding throughout the whole cafe.

I felt the other customer's gazes on us and my face flush in embarrassment.

"Please quiet down, guys. You are embarassing me."

Seungkwan stood up, placing his face close to mine.

"I. NEED. DETAILS."

I burst into laughter, tears pool up around my eyes.

Chan sighed and pushed Seungkwan's face away from mine.

"Can you let us sit down first, hyung?"

Seungkwan nodded his head really fast, pulling us towards the 2 empty chairs.

"Ok now talk." Everyone looked at us expectantly, their eyes sparkling.

I looked at Chan and found him looking at me fondly. Blood rush through my face and I felt like it is too hot. Everyone's gaze is burning and Chan looking at me like that is not helping.

I looked away bashfully. "Chan ah, you tell them."

Chan grinned, having expected that response from me.

"No problem, babe." Chan teased, putting emphasise on the "babe".

I covered my face as i blushed with my free hand (is it even possible to blush this much?) while the guys went crazy.

"He called her babe! Oh my god" Soonyoung and Seokmin was grabbing each other by the shoulder and shaking themselves. Seungkwan was screaming at Mingyu while Mingyu was hugging himself, shock and disbelief evident on his face. Jeonghan faked fainted onto Joshua, making the latter laugh. Minghao, Jun and Wonwoo was leaning onto each other and fake gagging. Vernon is laughing at the rest while Seungcheol and Jihoon buried their faces in their hands, tiredness evident on their faces.

I sighed, glaring at Chan.

"You just have to go ahead and said that."

He gave a grin in return, happiness evident in his face. He pulled my chair closer towards him, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

I felt Chan place a gentle peck on my forehead and when he pulled back, i felt my breath hitched. He was smiling that smile where his eyes curved into 2 crescent moon and his teeth is in full display.

"I really love you, Suyun ah."

I smiled back, resting my head on his chest,

"I really love you too, Chan ah."

(Unbeknownst to the couple, they had forgotten that they were still in the cafe with 12 single boys and that intimate moment was seen by the rest. Seungkwan is trembling, his jeju tangerine juice was crushed in his hands.
"TAKE THE PDA OUTSIDE, YOU STUPID COUPLE!")

(P.S. if you are wondering what the guys was whispering about, they were actually devising a plan to get the two together. They were sick and tired of the two dancing around each other HAHAHAHA)

{Author's note: Hi guys! It's been a really really long time and we are finally at the last chapter. Yay!! I am so sorry it took so long to finish this story. I actually had the app deleted HAHAHAH. To be honest, i contemplated between leaving the story like this and deleting it cause the writing style is not something im satisfied with. But i made a last minute decision today and decided to finally finish this story to give it closure. Do pardon my grammar cause i finished it in 2 hours with quick checks in the middle :').
