Village of Rulid
378, The Year of the Human realm.
After the defeat of the Administrator

Its has been at least a year since the death of Eugeo. Since the day Kirito couldn't forgive himself for what he couldn't do to protect the people he cares about. Ever since the battle of the dark territory, and being saved from Asuna, Sinon, and everyone else. He couldn't get the gut feeling from his stomach. His stomach pained him as his heart seemed to beat wildly when the name of his dead best friend Eugeo was mentioned. The ravened hair male couldn't handle what has happened since the incident that caused him to lose his loved one.

There the raven haired male sat on the stump of the chopped Gigas Cedar Tree below the twinkling of the beautiful night sky above him. The stars that Eugeo would stare up at every time at the Cedar tree. It was captivating to his dark black eyes as the stars twinkled brightly in the dark night. 'The night sky blade,' the voice rang in the hypnotised male's mind as a tear broke out from his eyes. "That's a great name..Eugeo.."he mumbled as he mentioned his last words from the tower in the city as a sniffle soon came after.

Kirito held the blue rose sword in his hand and looked at the blade closely with his blurred teary eyes. The detail was beautiful and skillfully designed onto the handle and the sheath of the of the sword like his best friend's face and his lovely green eyes. He wanted to thank him, he needed to meet him again and tell him how much he needed him. The black haired male had feelings for the blonde male but was too bothered and scared to tell him. He couldn't save the one he loves the most ever since he traveled and been with his partner this entire time since he has been here in this virtual world. It has been hinting him his entire adventure but shrugged it off until...until..his death..

"Hey...Eugeo.." he said out loud as the winds seemed to calm down and go quiet as the rustles of the tree stopped as the name was said out loud.  "How are you?...I know y-you're not here but..maybe you are.." the tears kept streaming down his face, leaving stains onto his face but he kept going. "I wanted to tell you something..something that has bothered me so much.." he clutched the the blue spare jacket with his hands as his breath hitched. "I never thought...I never thought this would happen.." he quivered as his hands visibly began to shake. "I-I'm so sorry Eugeo..for being so weak..for being so..so." Kirito began to lightly sob as he wiped his tears. "I'm sorry for crying Eugeo..even when you told me not too.." he admitted as he began to sob more on to the blue jacket.

Somewhere in the forest stood a transparent figure of a silhouette male, a confused but familiar male as he began to wander in the dark forest. He traipse around until stopping in front of a little stream of water, this place seemed familiar to him and made him nostalgic. "Huh?.." He stopped as the sound of crying attracted his attention, seeming to be from the right side of the stream.

The sound of weeping grew louder as the blonde figure began to get closer and closer to an open area. There stood a cut down tree and a stump with a crying figure on top of it. The memories flooded back from cutting down the Demon Tree to attending the Academy. He finally knew his name but he couldn't say it, he can't seem to find a way until a low but hushed voice said it out loud for him that caused his eyes to look at the slump male.

"Eugeo..."
