Dear Diary,
I can't believe my parents! One minute they're buying me a dog and the next they're throwing it out of the house! I hate them! I've been trying to find him this past month, but it's like he's left Oklahoma completely! Oh, by the way diary, my name's Abigail, but you can call me Abby. Wow, Orcus disappearing must have seriously messed with my mind! I'm talking to an inanimate object! Anyway, bye for now. I'll update about the search if I find anything.
Bye now,
Abigail

Dear Diary,
Still no luck on that search. He seems to have vanished into thin air! I've asked practically every child in Slaughterville (and yes, it's a terrible name for a real place.) and none of them have seen anything. To make this even better, strange things have been happening to my parents. They won't tell me what's wrong, but they were acting so scared and jumpy around me and the house that I listened in to one of their conversations. They were talking about Orcus. Dad said something about a demon dog in his dreams, and strange things happening to him whenever he was alone. He said something about a shadow and growling coming seemingly from outside the window, yet when he looked, nothing could be seen. My mother said that the same thing had been happening to her. I'm scared, Diary. I can't find Orcus, and now my parents are going mad.... Or worse.
Please help me,
Abigail

Dear Diary,

Dad's scaring me Diary. He always looks behind him, and there is a crazed glint in his eyes. He always yells at me and mum, but I know the..... Whatever it is is getting to her too. She's mentally fragile, and she cries whenever she sees a dog. I don't know what's happening, but I'm starting to see things myself. A small shadowy creature seems to follow me around. It's not scary though. Almost like it's protecting me......
I must be seeing things though. Orcus is missing, and I can't find him, so he can't be here.
Please find him and help my parents,
Abigail

Dear Diary,

My dad has snapped. He hit my mum yesterday, he thinks everyone is the enemy. He tried to push me down the stairs the other day. He threatened to hurt me if I continued looking for Orcus. I will anyway. He's not himself. I just hope he doesn't find out. He tried to hurt me before, when the madness first started showing, but he froze, his hand an inch away, and stumbled back as though he'd been shot. I just don't know what to do. Mum has been scarier though. She's so sad, and she's gone so far as to run away from home in her grief. I'm scared for her. There are bad people in this city. Who knows what they'll do to her in this state! Oh no, dad's coming. I've got to go.
Please help me,
Abigail.

Dear Diary,

Dad found out. I've been in my room, healing from my various bruises and thinking. Mum and dad have been getting worse. Dad has become a monster, and mum is broken beyond repair. Whatever is causing this insanity, I'm wondering why I haven't snapped yet. I still look the same, although I'm much thinner, since mum doesn't cook anymore and dad locks me in my room half the time. I'm not giving up on him though. Sometimes, The real Simon Macoy shines through, but the insanity is overwhelming him. My visions are now not just a shadow, they are a spotting image of Orcus, except his eyes are blood red. He looks at me like a member of his pack, and my parents like his prey. I'm scared. Of my mother, of my father, of myself. I'm scared that Orcus will attack his prey. I'm scared that I too will snap, and succumb to the same madness as my parents have.
Help,
Abigail

Dear Diary,

I've run away from home. My parents can't control themselves. My father has harmed me and my mother multiple times, and my mother ran away again. This time, I couldn't find her fast enough. I found her corpse in an alleyway, a knife in her heart. I went home, only to receive punishment from my father for leaving the house.  Yesterday, the police came to our house, but my dad kicked me out of the house for the day, didn't tell me they were coming and told them that he was devestated that mum was dead. He seemed glad to see her go, and it was then I realised that at home, I was fated to be as dead as my mother. I'm currently in a hostel, living off food which I've paid for or stolen. I hope that my mother is safe in the afterlife, wherever she may be.
Goodbye,
Abigail

Dear Diary,

I've found Orcus! But something about him is different. There's a glint of madness in his turned blood red eyes. He seems.... Off somehow. Demonic, even. He has a strange scar on his stomach. It's like his name has taken on a whole new meaning. Orcus is death in Latin, and dad named him that jokingly because he looked half dead when we bought him. But now... It's almost as if it's a reality. I've heard on the news that dad has disappeared, and I think he's coming for me. He's not human any more. I've seen glipses of him around town, and he stumbles as he walks, like one of those zombies from the movies. His eyes are the same blood red as Orcus, and I'm starting to wonder if there's more to my dog than he seems. I wonder....

Dear Diary,

This will likely be my last diary entry ever. Orcus has disappeared, and my father has been visiting all the hostels around town. I've left the one I was staying in, but he saw me, and someone told me that he wanted me dead. I'm currently living wherever I can, but he's bound to find me soon. He's paying people to tell him where I am, but I'm always gone before he arrives. I'm running out of food too, and he has people patrolling the shops. All the people he hires are either people that he knows hate me, or random people who he's just told that I'm missing to. I'm currently at a campsite in the woods near us, but he's bound to get me.
Goodbye,
Abigail

Dear Diary,

Hi! I'm Josh. My mum got me this diary from a second hand shop for me. She said that the owner told her it was cursed, that the girl who had this before had been killed by her father, who had been driven insane. So cool! I think she just said it to scare me though. Although, I do have something to tell you, diary. Yesterday, my mum bought me a dog! She said that his name was Orcus, and that he had belonged to a young girl who had died. Why are people so obsessed with dead girls nowadays! I mean, she probably just died from starvation or something. People can be so dumb. Ok, my best friend Abigail is coming to my house now, so I better go.
Bye,
Josh.
