Jungkook sat in the driver seat as he looked at the entrance of Taehyung and Jimin's house. His palms getting slightly sweaty as he thought about heading back home instead, but he knew it was the right thing. Apologizing face to face was better than through a post. It would make him feel less bad if he heard Taehyung forgive him in person.
Now Jungkook wasn't the type of person who was good at apologizing or liked to apologize to others. Yet for some reason since Taehyung told him the reason why he so badly wanted Jungkook to like him something changed inside. He didn't know why, but didn't question the reason.
Before be could drive away he stepped out of the car and made his way to the front door of the house. His hands lifting up to ring the door bell. He stood patiently waiting yet nobody came. One more time he repeated his action and soon heard footsteps coming up to the front door.
Jungkook looked down at his feet, wiggling them slightly. His attention was caught when he heard the door open to be met with Jimin. A smile on his face, but falling when he saw it was Jungkook.
"Can I help you?" Jimin asked. Blocking the entrance to the house. The same way Jungkook had done to Taehyung the last time.
"I came to see Taehyung." Jungkook replied. Jimin raised an eyebrow as he nodded his head.
"Ah that's new." Jimin simply said as he just stood there. Not moving a muscle or making it seem like if he was going to get Taehyung.
Jungkook looked at him rather awkwardly. If he found the atmosphere with Taehyung already very awkward then this was on a whole new level. "Can you go tell him I'm here?" Jungkook asked. All he wanted was for Jimin to leave and talk to Taehyung alone.
"Oh right." Jimin said. "Yeah um he's not home." He said with a half smile on his face.
"Are you sure?" Jungkook asked looking at Jimin suspiciously. The forced look on Jimin's face wasn't helping him convince Jungkook at all. It just made it worse.
"Wouldn't I know if my best friend is home or not? We do live together if you forgot." The blond said rather annoyed taking Jungkook back a bit. Who knew someone so sweet and innocent looking could be this sassy.
"Okay well I'll come other time then." Jungkook said not bothering to argue with Jimin. "Than-." He started, but was cut with Jimin closing the door.
"Bitch." Jungkook mumbled under his breath before heading to his car and getting inside.
"Maybe I picked the wrong person to dislike." He said to himself as he looked over the house before driving away from Taehyung's neighborhood.
