I close my eyes but don't feel asleep. Instead I wake up and adjust to the bright light, when I was settled I appeared to be lying on a checkered tile floor that caused goosebumps to appear against my skin, my eyes dart back and forth trying to figure out where I am. There were old records lined upon the white walls; a jukebox was in the corner playing eerie notes that I couldn't make out to resemble a song. I got up light headed, my vision blurry and stumbled over to the counter. I made out a figure behind behind the counter. A woman with a baby blue button down dress and a white apron her blonde hair pulled back  into a ponytail. She was writing on her notepad. I limp over to her "Um hello could you tell me where I am?" She continues to write. I tap her again "Please I'm terrified and have no idea what I'm doing here and why I'm here." Still no answer; frustrated I grab her wrist to stop her from writing but the words written on the notepad sends shivers down my spine; in red ink written over and over are the same two words "Help me" Before I can speak thunder strikes and the lights go out I fall backwards hitting my head and when the lights return the waitress who was alive just a second ago is now a mannequin I push the lifeless woman off of me and screaming I get up now seeing that there were thousands of mannequins in the diner some even without limbs. I push through them my head bleeding. When I make it out the door the rain hits my skin and burns me I run to look for cover I find a red truck and jerk the door open and jump in and locking the doors. My body aches all over and I begin to cry all I can hear is the beating rain and heavy breathing but not just my breathing someone else's I strike of fear shoots through me I'm afraid to turn around. Gulping I turn my head slowly to come face to face with a lifeless figure I want to scream but I don't want to alarm it. It doesn't move so I reach my hand slowly over to touch it just as I am about to come in contact with it; it jumps to life and grabs my wrist...
