This isn't apart of the story, this is just a guide on how this AU works. Yes, it's that confusing that it needs a whole chapter to it's-self.
Everyone has a flower scent. Like roses, lavenders, tulips, ect. It's very faint as a child but by age 15 it's fully matured. Sort of like the alpha/omega. That is the only thing those two have in common I must admit.
Confessing your love to someone in this AU is like a marriage proposal. Person A must correctly give the flower Person B smells like. If A fails then it means their love was never meant to be. If A guesses the flower correctly, thus giving B said bouquet of that flower but if B doesn't love A then the flowers shall wilt. Giving Person A a broken petal tattoo. Now if A confesses and B has the same feelings. The bouquet shall transform into a crystalized ring, showing a minature bloom of said flower. I forgot to mention, B must also correctly guess A's flower.
Peoples flower scent can actually be sliced off. It is where the broken petal tattoo would appear, on your left wrist. If your scent is sliced off as punishment or torture. You'll become broken. Never able to marry or fall in love again. If you were already married , the ring would shatter. A tattoo would appear on the others wrist. A red petal.
Divorce can happen. Both rings would break, but you can fall in love again. Though your past lover would always be in your mind.
I know this sounds super confusing but I promise it'll make sense. (hopefully) If anyone actually likes this AU could someone comment on this page? I'm being petty but I really don't want to put unnecessary content on here. Any questions, go ahead and ask. I'm super childish in comments but I'd say I'm quite professional when writing. It's a huge passion of mine. Anyway, I hope someone thinks this is a good idea.
