"Good-bye New York and hello Foxville." I said in my head as my mom and I walk out of the airport to be greeted by my Aunt Kate.
"Melissa, Bella! I haven't seen you two in forever!" Said my aunt with a little enthusiasm put in her words.
"Hi Kate, are you sure you want to take care of Bella?" My mom looked like she was having second thoughts of me staying the school-year with her.
"Um, Moose, it's totally ok! We'll have lots of fun together, right Bella?" Aunt Kate winks at me.
"Yeah, sure!" I lied. I knew these weeks were gonna be pretty miserable since I pretty much just left all my childhood behind me just so my mom can work more and not take care of me.
"Bella, are you sure you want to stay? I can always have you back at home..."
"Mom, I'll be fine. I'm only doing this so you can get your work hours in and get paid more money, seriously, don't worry about me." And with that, mom gave me a big hug good-bye along with my aunt, and she was gone. I started to pack my things in the trunk, I only brought a couple of suitcases with clothes, my phone with its charger and earplugs. I open and get in the passenger's side of my aunt's blue convertible and fasten in my seat belt.
"Oh Bella, we're gonna have so much fun this year, just you wait!" Kate says, excitement rings to her tone. I nod my head in agreement as Aunt Kate puts the key in the ignition and starts the car up, only to be met with a loud pop.
"Uh, Aunt Kate, is the car okay?" I asked, slightly shaken up from the fact that the car could break apart when we get to the middle of nowhere.
"Oh yeah! It's just getting a little too old I guess, but don't worry, it'll make it through the trip back to Foxville." She sighs and starts to back out from the airport parking lot and starts to drive on an interstate. I plugged my headphones into my iPhone and listened to some alternative music. After settling deep into my music, I can tell I'm starting to drift off, but that's actually good. I didn't get any sleep on the plane because there were kids around the age of 7 who kept screaming and crying that they wanted to go home, so that kept me up all night(s) long. My plans until Monday (it's Saturday right now) are to just watch Netflix while wearing sweat pants and eating junk food. That's what most of my days consist of anyways.

"Bella wake up, we're here." My aunt starts to wake me up and she pops the trunk. "Move it sister, you have some stuff to carry in, then you can take a nap."
"Wha-?" I jostled in my seat as I woke up. "Oh, sorry Aunt Kate. I was just dozing off."
"That's ok kiddo, now get your stuff together so you can go to bed."
"Okay." I responded as I unbuckled my seat belt and walked to the back of the car. I checked the time on my phone: 9:38 p.m. "My God, I'm so tired." I mumbled under my breath as I grabbed all my luggage, stuffing my phone in my pocket, and walking up to the front porch of Aunt Kate's house. I open the door with my free hand and quickly slide through, the screen door slamming shut right behind me. Aunt Kate's house is a little small, but at least it's better than an apartment. I look for a room that wasn't taken yet, and I open the first door I find, only to find the room empty except with a bed with no sheets, a window by the bed, a desk, and a night stand with a mirror on it. "Home sweet home." I muttered as I entered the room.
