Will you be mine?

Ever since you moved in next door, you and Jacob have had a very flirty friendship. You guys were close enough that you would cuddle on the couch, joke around, and even sleep in the same bed. I can't deny the fact that I had feelings for him but I almost knew for sure he didn't feel the same way. Friends only.

Jacobs POV

I was sitting on the couch with y/n watching The Fault in our Stars. Just as the scene where Augustus dies, y/n starts crying into my chest. "No why did he have to die? I don't care if he's just a character WHY?" she bawled. "It's okay, now he's not hurting anymore." I knew it was just more then her loving that character, because her father had died from cancer a few years before she moved to Knoxville.

As she continued crying I rubbed her back and help her. "Hey, it's okay. I'm here for you. You mean a lot to me and I don't like seeing you cry." I said as I looked at her. She looked right into my eyes and we kinda just stared at each other.

Y/N's POV

As I was awkwardly staring at Jacob and he was awkwardly staring back, I started to notice all the little features on his face. His sharp jawline, his perfect lips, big brown eyes that anyone could fall for...I started to learn in. Without even thinking I leaned in more and he did as well.

Our lips connected and I felt as if there were fireworks. The kiss lasted about 30 seconds but it seemed like a month. He slowly pulled away and pushed a piece of my hair behind my ear that had fallen into my face. I blushed and said "sorry, I've kinda been wanting to kiss you for a while now." I was nervous as to how he would reply.

Jacobs POV

That was amazing. That was the best kiss I've even had. I longed for more, another taste of her lips. As I pulled away I pushed a hair that had fallen out of her face and behind her ear. "I'm sorry, I've kinda been wanting to do that for a while now." She said looking at me as if what she did was wrong. "I've been wanting to do the same..." "Really?" She asked me as if I didn't mean it. "Yes really! You came into my life at the perfect time, and you've helped me so much. You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my entire life and I don't want to be with anyone other then you. Y/n, will you do the honors of being my girlfriend?" I spoke holding her small, warm hands and staring into her beautiful green eyes. "Yes Jacob yes! I would love to!" She said as she jumped into my arms and kissed me again. This time with more passion, more power.

Ugh I could feel myself falling more for her every time I was around her. We broke the kiss and went back over to the couch and just cuddled the rest of the night, with some random show on the tv but we were too busy talking to pay any attention. I could see in her eyes she was getting sleepy, and she put her head into the crook of my next and I could see her drift off into a deep sleep. I feel asleep soon after, and being with her, having my arms wrapped around me; was all I could think about.
