October 24, 2006, Taylor Swift released her debut album. Wow.
Taylor Alison Swift, words can NOT describe how proud I am of you!!! At my age you were trying to get lables to listen to you sing, and now, 10 years after that, those lables are probably standing there thinking 'huh, we should've given her a chance'.
At 16 you sold millions of copies of your debut album, "Taylor Swift: A Place in This World", which is phenomenal! You then went on tour with some of the biggest names in Country Music, and more and more people fell in love with your music!!!! 2008: Fearless is released on November 11 and went Platinum so fast! That is one of my favorite albums! Your first headlining tour began in 2008 and was a marvelous success!!!!!
At 18 you became the youngest person to win a Grammy for Album of the Year, which I am still SO proud of!
2010: Speak Now was realeased and that album impacted me so much!!!! That album held your first Wprld Tour, and I still get so amazed watching Speak Now World Tour Live on disc!
2012: Stand Up To Cancer you preformed "Ronan", a song that raised the awareness of childhood cancer to millions of people. That song made me realize how much of a miracle my little brother is, he almost died at birth, but that song made me realize how things vanish in a second, so don't take things for granted.
October 22, 2012, RED was released!!! That album had the biggest affect on me because I experienced it with my best friend!!!! We became extreemly close that year! the RED concert was the kickoff of pur summer that year, and we made the best memories! I remember she was at a party in my neighborhood when I got home from camp and we hadn't seen each other in 5 weeks. I didn't care how exhausted I was and we sprinted to meet at the end of my street screaming "22" and that "I'm only me when I'm with you!" Then hugged each other so tight and were almost in tears because we were so happy to see each other!!!!
November 6, 2013: That day I realized just how proud of you I am. I had just gotten home from youth group and went ibto my parents bedroom right as they were about to start announcing the Pinnacle Award. What they said and your speech made me cry, and I remember thinking 'that's my girl, that's the person who changed my life, who changed billions of lives, wrote a full album all by herself, wrote a powerful song like "Ronan", went platinum at 18, opened for people like Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, and more!!!! And at 23, you won the Pinnacle Award, which hadn't been recieced since 2003 by Garth Brooks!!!!!
Taylor, you've accomplished so much over the oast 8 years and now album 5 is being released on Monday!!!! I can't believe how much impact you've had on the world and I can't wait to see what you have in store for your Swifties!!! Thank You for changing my life!!! And billions of other's lives!
These past 8 years have been amazing, so thank you for NEVER giving up on your dream, I don't know where I'd be without you! Me and Syd may not be as close as we are today without you getting us through some tough times!!!
