It was finally time to go home. I run out of my cubicle and go to the elevator. I needed to get home and be with Luke.

"Jayden!"

I turn and see Hannah running after me.

"What happened?"

She pulls me into the elevator.

"Listen, you need to tell Luke."

"Never."

"I promise you, if Luke ever leaves you, it's because you are hiding something from him, not because of this situation."

I look down. She's right. That would be the only reason. He wouldn't care if he was in danger, he only cared about me being safe.

"You're right I have to. I'll tell him tonight during dinner."

"Good."

We walk out of the elevator and go outside.

"Good luck Jayden. You already know, if you need me I'm just a call away."

I nod.

"Thank you."

We hug and walk off to our cars. I turn back and see her get into her car and drive off. I am so happy I had her. I just needed Sabrina too. Us three were the three musketeers. I get into my car and sit there. How was I supposed to explain this to Luke? I start the car and turn on the radio. Problem comes on and I smile. Ariana was my favorite. I dance and sing along to the song all the way home. I get to the parking lot of our complex and turn off the car. Ok, Jayden, stay calm, you can do this. I get out and slowly walk to the stairs. My heart was pounding. I stop in the middle of the staircase. I couldn't do this. Nope. How about I just didn't come home for the night. I'll call Luke and tell him that I have to work overnight. But that didn't make sense. I stomp my foot. I hate this all. I hate my life. No I take that back. I hate everything except for Luke. I slowly walk up the stairs trying to plan this all out. When would be the best time to tell him? I reach my door and take out my keys. My hands were shaking. I try to steady them, failing and dropping my keys. I growl. Fuck all this. I pick them up and quickly open the door before my hands could start shaking again.

As soon as I walk in the smell of pasta enters. I breathe in and smile. I walk into the kitchen and see Luke standing there in an apron butt naked. I smirk and walk up behind, hugging him. He turns and smiles at me.

"You're finally home!"

He kisses me and backs me up against the fridge. He pulls away and hugs me tight.

"I missed you."

I kiss his neck.

"I missed you too."

He lets go of me and he walks back to the stove.

"I know how much you have been wanting pasta, so I stopped working early and decided to cook."

"I love you so fucking much Luke, thank you."

He smiles and finishes the pasta.

"I'll be right back. I'm gonna go change out of this."

He nods and I go into the bed room. I see something on the dresser and walk up to it. I stare at shocked. I couldn't believe that this was real. I thought that the fax was a joke and Luke just drew it as a joke. I shake my head. But he couldn't have because of the J. I pick up the photo and just stare at it. Out of all the people this person could go after, it was me. Why me? And why put the love of my life at risk too? I slam the paper down and walk to the closet. I take out some shorts and a tank top and change into them. I go to the bathroom and stare at myself in the mirror. I wanted to just take everything around me and throw it every at the wall. I wanted to break everything. I just wanted to leave this world.
