The Last Leaf

Mia was standing by the window waiting for the doctor to tell her if her friend Lisa was going to live or die.

The doctor returned and,

Said "she could die any minute now unless she decided to live"

I was speechless when I heard the news.

Later I went to Lisa's room and she was sitting by the window looking at the ivy vine. She said when that leaf falls is when I will die. I asked her if she wanted to play cards, she replied with "only if mr.bogardo will play"

So I went down stairs and knocked on mr,bogardo's door. He answered the door in seconds.

He asked me what I wanted and invited me in. I told him about the last leaf theory and he said" go away I want to paint my masterpiece.
