You were in so much pain, feeling the tight rope whip hit against you bare back, lags, and arms rapidly. "STOP!" you screamed at the top of your lungs at your step dad, who was drunk. You tried to escape from his grip on your arm,but it only made it worse. After about an hour of his horror he locked you inside the basement like he usually does, with nothing. All you did was sit in the dark corner, crying, hoping that things would get better. Then you fell asleep.
The door to the basement flung open, startling you. then you looked up from your dark corner to see Paul, your step dad, with his whip in hand. "Come here you little shit." he ordered. Then you did as you were told. smelling like alcohol, he draged you by the hair to the living room, and started beating you once more. Not long after he started, you got out of his killing grip and ran towards the kitchen. He got up from where he was, and picked up the first thing he saw in the kitchen, which was a knife. "your only making this worse for yourself _____." You could only stand there in fear as he can closer until you were face-to-face. Then he swung the knife down hitting your shoulder, then garbed a glass plate and hit it against your head. Next thing you know you were passed out.
You woke up not knowing what time it was and Paul wasn't inside the room. You then quickly got up, graded your jacket, and sprinted out of the house into the dark forest. You could hear yelling in the background, you pretty much ignored it but it was something along, "Run all you want _____, you know I'll find you!" that just made you want to run faster. you finally managed to see the next town over, but before you could walk any feather you started feeling light headed. You continued to walk on the side of the main road by the forest to get to the next town when you fainted from the amount of blood lost.
