Chapter Two
I stood there and must have thought about going to lunch with him for ages, because his face kept growing sadder by the minute. Which made me so guilty that I had to say yes.
First and second periods just flew by in a blur, didn't get anything written down or even know what we was doing. I was getting nervous about lunch, kept thinking about how wrong it is this odd relationship with Rusty is, if you can even call it a relationship. Should I have forgiven him for that night?
Should I carry on as it didn't happen? What if he's crazy? What if something like that happens again, how will I defend myself against his strength... But then I think of his intriguing eyes, how they capture all my attention.
Break arrived and went by quick, just sat outside in the gentle breeze. Third period my attention was else where when it happened again, I couldn't hear anything and I started to panic, and squeezed my eyes shut, kept thinking to myself deep breath, in and out, in and out. Didn't help much then when I opened my eyes Rusty was right in front of my face looking worried and was saying something but I can't lip read, just stared at his mouth confused.
His lips looked so kissable... Ahhh what am I thinking I need to be wary of him, I scalded myself, Rusty grabbed a piece of paper and had written "you can't hear anything again can you?" I looked up at him and nodded, I noticed he had an adorable smirk on his face for some reason.
I grabbed that paper from his hands and quickly scribbled "can you get me out of hear, I'm getting tired and my version is getting strange".
I shook my head seeing if these colours that are around people would go but of course with my bad luck nothing changed, god I hate my life! I looked at Rusty and he didn't have any colours around him, I gave him a pleading look. I felt my body getting weaker by the minute, he must have noticed because he grabbed my hand and I gasped feeling a spark tingling my fingers, but he pulled me along out of the classroom leaving everyone staring at us in our wake, the teacher got up and started shouting by the looks of it but Rusty kept going until we was in the car park and heading straight for his car.
Now my body was so drained it felt like my bones had gone to jelly, I started wobbling, nearly falling over until Rusty's strong arms came around me and picked me up, he put me in the passenger seat and buckled me in. That's when I felt my eyes shutting on their own accord and I went into sweet nothingness.
