"This is called a betrayal of trust, Virgil. Does that mean nothing to you?"

"I didn't realize this meant so much to you."

"Of course it does! How dare you throw a blue shell at me when just before I finish the third lap?" Roman pouted.

"You got second," Virgil replied, smirking. "And besides, I finished in sixth anyway."

"Serves you right, dirty little traitor," Roman huffed, then glanced out the window. "Hang on. De and Remy are walking home together and... Remus is flirting with De. I feel so bad for him," Roman laughed, clearly not feeling bad at all.

"Seriously?" Virgil said in disbelief. The two boys clambered over to the window and watched the scene unfold. Remy and De both looked uncomfortable, De was suddenly embarrassed, and Remy was pulling him away as Remus followed them and continued to pester them. "Talk about character development. At least Deceit is less of a dick now," Virgil shrugged.

"I guess. Remus is annoying, though," Roman replied.

"I thought you said he'd be going home after the weekend," Virgil said, raising an eyebrow.

"He was supposed to, but I honestly believe that he has been sleeping under a bench since we kicked him out," Roman shrugged.

"Why doesn't he just go back, then?" Virgil asked.

"I dunno. Maybe he likes it here—" Roman started to try to explain his half-brother's weird antics when he noticed that, speak of the (literal) Devil, he was coming over to Virgil's house.

"No, please don't come in..." Virgil sighed, getting up to lock every door to the outside that he could possibly think of.

He seemed to have thought of that, though, and went around to the back. Instead of trying the back door, he had disappeared from sight.

About a minute later, they heard a thud upstairs.

"Holy shit, did he just climb in through the window?" Roman muttered.

"How the hell—" Virgil ran upstairs, closely followed by his boyfriend.

"Hello! I just love appearing where I'm least wanted, it's so much fun!" Remus was grinning like a retarded maniac.

"You smell really bad," Roman immediately plugged his nose while Virgil just crossed his arms and glared at him.

"What are you doing here?"

"Like I said, it's one of life's greatest pleasures to annoy other people. And by the way, thank you Roman. That's what I was going for. My deodorant's flavor is pickled poo logs."

"That's not a thing. Besides, deodorants don't have flavors. You don't eat that stuff," Virgil shuddered.

"Maybe you don't," Remus wiggled his eyebrows while the other two boys gagged in unison.

"Not my point," Virgil shook his head. "Get out."

"No thanks!" Remus laughed and walked past them and down the stairs.

"Is he like this at Christmas?" Virgil asked.

"Was he like this at school?" Roman replied tiredly. "I mean, at least he's not painting vivid mental imagery about what my Aunt Patty would look like naked..." he shuddered.

"Oh, wow. He gets that bad?"

"And he—apparently—eats deodorant. Anyway, let's go protect your house. I swear, trying to keep him from breaking something is like babysitting a child whose actual parents are a bulldozer and a wrecking ball."

"Ugh..." Virgil dragged a hand down his face and ran back downstairs. "Remus, I swear to all things more emotionally distraught than myself, if you break anything, I will break you."

"Do ya promise?" Remus called back and he sounded so happy (read *deranged) that you could hear the grin on his face.

"Fucking masochist," Virgil muttered. "It's a threat, not a promise. That much I can guarantee. Now if you're not going to leave, then sit in the corner and don't break anything, don't move anything, heck, just don't touch anything."

"I'll be in my room, making no noise and pretending I don't exist!" Remus clapped his hands.

"I appreciate the reference, but you don't get a room. Just the corner. Now leave us alone."

A/N: Hey, everyguys. Have this train wreck of a chapter because I mean... Inspiration? Who's she? Never heard of her. I'm honestly so sorry that I couldn't write a longer/better chapter and haven't updated in forever but I'm trying my best here and I've just been in such a crappy mood recently and I can't seem to do anything productive. Yay.

Hasta la vista, thot.
