A dull redheaded male approached a man with dirty blonde hair and a yellow turtle neck in an alleyway, clearly ready to kill. The dull redhead had a hat covering his eyes and a cough mask covering his mouth, protecting his identity. He also had on a silver-ish jacket with a purple shirt on underneath.
"Excuse me,"
He said to the man.
"But I got your money. Care to give me the girl?"
The man's bright green eyes suddenly showed no emotion as he said the following words:
"You were late."
The man then points over to an area, where a small, lifeless girl layed, a bullet shot through her head. She was dead. The male's little sister was dead.
He suddenly awakens in a cold sweat, as his dull red hair flies in his face. The same nightmare he had been getting every day since her death.
"Levi.."
A voice calls out, causing Levi to look at his doorway.
There, he sees the ghostly little girl he just couldn't save.
"..Please. I know it's hard, but please eat today."
The girl continues.
Levi sits up and lets his feet touch the floor.
"Okay sis, anything for you."
He says
For the next five minutes he struggles to get out of bed, but he finally did. He slowly staggers out of his room as if he was drunk. Bit, of course, he was always drunk on something. Whether it was sadness, happiness, or plain old whiskey, he was drunk all the time.
He walks into the bathroom and stared into the broken mirror that he neglected to fix. His golden eyes stared back at him, and his heavily scarred face.
"Run."
Fear grabs a hold of him. He didn't say that. His little sister didn't say that... So who did?
Laughter started to fill the room, not coming from anyone.
Then... Darkness.
