I woke up the next morning. I take my blanket off and look at what I'm wearing. I was slightly confused until I looked at the hoodie I had on and memory's from last night came flooding back.
Flashback
"Here" He says taking off his hoodie. "No no you need it" I say. "No it's okay I'm hot, not like that I mean body hot, I mean-" I cut him off. "I get it" I laugh a little as I pull the hoodie over my shirt.
End of flashback
I catch myself smiling while thinking about it. I immediately stop smiling and take it off. I grab a towel and take a shower. I get out and change into my black and white adidas track pants and my old high school athletic hoodie. I don't really grow much so it stop fits pretty well. I let my hair be it's natural wavy self. I put on my black adidas running shoes and head to my car. I check my phone before I start the car. I have 3 texts from Daniel and 6 from Brook. Geez.
Dani Boy: hey
Dani Boy: oh wait your probably sleeping sorry
Dani Boy: good morning
I text back
Me: good morning
I laugh to myself about his awkwardness.
I open the texts from Brook.
Bestie😝: WERE YOU JUST TALKING TO DANIEL??
Bestie😝: KAYYYLAAAA
Bestie😝: what happen last night with you and Daniel ??
Bestie😝: wake up lazy bones
Bestie😝: you gotta tell meeee
Bestie😝: pleaseeeee I wove you
Me: I just got up lol calm down nothing happen with me and Daniel
Bestie😝: I know your lying pleassseeee tell meeeee
Me: ugh fine meet me at Starbucks in 5 min
Bestie😝: okayyy
I get another text but this time from Daniel.
Dani Boy: what's up
Me: nothing really hbu
Dani Boy: just walking around
Me: ahhh well I will text you later I'm meeting up with my friend
Dani Boy: okayy
I put my phone down and start my car. I pull out of the drive way and drive to a local Starbucks. I go up the register and order. I'm not a big fan of coffee but I usually get the Tye Die Frappe it tastes like a banana laffy taffy. I order that and wait. "Kayla" they call my name for my order. "Thank you" I say. I grab my drink and sit at a two person table. A minute later Brook walks in. She quickly gets a drink and comes to sit with me. "Spill the tea" she says. I laugh and start my story. "Well after the show it started to get kinda empty so I went to go get a drink real fast. I ordered and Daniel ended up paying for my drink with out me telling him to and then I was cold so he gave me his hoodie and he found my car keys when I dropped them and gave them back to me. Oh and I also got his number." I finish and sip my drink. Her eyes go completely crazy wide they looked like they could pop out. "Are you serious?!! You have Daniel Seaveys hoodie and number!!!" She whisper yelled. "It's not that big of a deal he's just another person in the world" I say. "Ya a very hot person in the world who happens to be flirting with my best friend" she says rolling her eyes. "Listen i dont like him like that he's probably just full of himself just like the rest of them. We can be friends but only friends" I say. She looks at me like I'm crazy. "Your insane" "I know" I smile. The door opens and reveals the one and only Daniel Seavey. I quickly turn my head away so he can't see me. Brook looks at me weirdly but then sees Daniel ordering. She looks at me and smirks. "No" I look at her very seriously. She continues to smirk. She looks back and Daniel and yells "hey Daniel over here" I glare at her and glance over at him and he's looking right at me. WHY BROOK. He grabs his drink and heads over our way. I sit up completely now that he knows I'm here. "Oh hey Kayla" he smiles at me. "Hi" I say awkwardly. "And Brook right?" He asks looking at her. "Yep". "Well I'm gonna get going I got a lot to do today. Daniel you can take my seat if you want. See ya guys" she smiles at me and walks away. I'm gonna kill her. He just keeps smiling and takes the seat in front of me. "I didn't know you were still in town I thought you'd be on the road by now" I say not looking at him. "Yeah we get to stay here for tonight but we leave in the morning" he says. "Ah" I say looking up a him. God his eyes are gorgeous. I notice me staring and I look away. "Do you wanna hang out with me and the guys today? If you don't have anything going on" He asks with a hopeful smile. Should I? I don't know. I kinda want to but I don't at the same time. If I don't Brook would kill me and use that against me for the rest of my life. "Sure" I say. We finish our drinks and walk out of the shop. "We can meet them at the mall if you want?" He says waking next to me. "Yeah that's cool" I say. "How did you get here" I ask. "I got an Uber" he says. "I have my car I can drive us there" I say looking at him. "Okay" He says looking at me. And here we go again with staring. I laugh nervously and unlock my car. We both get in and start driving. "May I" He says pointing to the aux cord. "Go ahead" I say. He plugs in his phone and plays 'Nervous' by Jake Miller. He's got a good song idea. I smile and chuckle. "What?" He asks looking at me. "I love Jake Miller. We also have the same last name" I say still looking at the road. "Really? Your name is Kayla Miller?" He says. "Yep" I say popping the 'p'. "My band and I are pretty good friends with him" he says. "Woah that's awesome" I say. We arrive at the mall. We both get out and I lock my car. We go inside and we see 5 boys waiting. "Hey guys this is Kayla we met her last night" I give a small wave. "Kayla Incase you don't know their names that's Corbyn, Jack, Zach, Jonah and Logan. Logan isn't in the band but we are friends" he says. That's a lot to remember. "Hey aren't you the one who said that you basically didn't like the show" jack says. "Uh no offense but I'm not a fan" I say. "Then why were you in the meet an greet" Zach asks. "My friend made me" I say simply. "Ohh". "Are you in the Logang?" I'm pretty sure it was Logan, said. "Uh sure" I say not knowing what he's talking about. "Good answer" He says. We all walk around for a while and get to know everyone. Corbyn had surgery on his through a while ago. Must have been hard being a singer and not being able to sing. He has a girlfriend named Christina. Zach is the 17 and dropped out of school. He is single and is 'ready to mingle'. Jack is 19 has a girlfriend named Gabby. And his nickname is noodles. Jonah he's 20. He loves coffee. He has a girlfriend named Tate. All of their girlfriends are super pretty to be honest. Logan has a YouTube channel and they are the Logang and he has a twin brother Jake. Apparently they have distracts to each other and everything. And Daniel is 19. He used to live in Portland Oregon before he moved to LA with the rest of the guys. He can play a lot of instruments. Sooo yeah I think that's it. Eventually everyone departs one by one and now it's just me and Daniel. We go back to my car. "Can we hang out at your house and get to know each other more" he says. "I thought I just got to know you today" I say. "I mean more than just the simple" he says. "Yeah I guess" we smile at each other and I start the car. We drive to my house with his playlist on. I park and we get out of the car. I unlock my door and we walk in. I walk over to the couch and sit as Daniel follows. "Let's play 20 questions" he says as soon as he sits down. "Okay you go first" I say.

Daniel: 47, what do you do
Me: photography, dream place
Daniel: Hawaii, you?
Me: London I'm moving there soon
Daniel: wow uh, do you have a boyfriend
I look at him kinda shocked he asked that.
Me: no, you?
Daniel: nope, has anyone told you your really pretty?
Me: uh not really
Daniel: well you are
We lock eyes as I blush. I look down but he puts his finger under my chin lifting my head back up. I look at him in the eyes. Their so blue and full of happiness. He seems like he has a pretty good life. But me, I live by myself in a town in New York and this kid travels the world doing what he loves. We continue to look at each other then he starts to lean in. He looks down at my lips then back up my eyes. We got closer and closer. All of the sudden their was a knock at the door. We stop and pull back. I stand up and open the door. "Hey how was you and Daaa-" Brook stops and sees Daniel sitting on the couch. "Oh was I interrupting something" she says. "No" Daniel cuts in. Okay ouch. She was definitely interrupting something but I guess it was nothing to him. How did I let this guy get in my head. I don't even like him. Or do I? I think I'm just tired it will all be gone by tomorrow. "Well I think everyone should leave I'm tired" I say looking at my feet. "Yeah me too goodnightt" Brook says walking out. I continue to star at the ground. "Kayla are you alright?" He asks standing up. "I'm fine" I say. He starts walking towards me. He touches my arm but I pull it away. "Goodbye Daniel" I finally look up at him. He looks kind of upset but that's not my fault. I shouldn't be leading someone on that I don't like anyways. "Okay" is all he says before walking out. I go up in my room and stare at myself in my mirror. What's going on with me? I didn't even like these guys before and now I'm friends with all of them, almost kissed Daniel and now I feel weird around him. I sigh and fall asleep with all of these questions I couldn't answer.
