(Author's note: Haha I'm at it again because my stress and anxiety can wait (not really-) I honestly don't know what I'll do with this fic because I'm losing motivation. And biology class is hard. Possible body horror!)

°Shinya's perspective, 16°

Pain. What a familiar feeling. Physical pain should hurt more but it doesn't. Ringing echoes through my ears. Familiar. What wasn't was the rusty metalic taste forming inside my mouth. The warm feeling blossoming near my abdomen. Voices of terror boomed all around me. A strange calmness swept over me. How odd. The screams faded, my eyelids felt like rocks.

Is this the feeling of death? I've deserved this for years. Today might finally be it.

"Boom."

°Guren's perspective, sIxTeEn°

A broken bloody scream erupted from my lungs. It was like watching a slo-mo horror movie. Up close and personal. Whoever this agent was wanted something from me. Everyone's just  unconscious. Eerily still to be so but.. How could someone think that.

"Guren Ichinose, huh. I feel bad shooting up a bunch of teens but you're the priority." I tore my eyes away from the....living...bodies of those I know. This person was male. 6.6' possibly. Even in the low café lights. This man's eyes shine with pure evil intention.

"Who...-" The man laughed manically, sweeping whatever words forming in my mouth instantly.  Apparently, not everyone was knocked down. In the heat of our eyes meeting, daggers clash. Beautiful irises shielded by delicate conjunctivas, their only way of protection from the murderous aura flowing from myself and this monster in abundance.

"FREEZE! PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE EM'!" Much to everyone's shock, the officers arrive quite soon. Contrary to popular belief, they did their job correctly. Whoever this Hyakuya sect was scared me. Genuinely, I Guren Ichinose was, am. Scared. The monster was taken into questioning. Soon though, colors swirled around me. Am I high now apparently? Looking down at my twisting pink and blue torso shocked me. A specific color actually.

Red.

Everything turned upside down, all I see is black. Along with the company of concious confusion.

°The world through Shinya's eyes, 16 years of age°

Oddly enough, I wasn't dead. Or the afterlife was playing a cruel joke. A hospital room? Thanks God. Love you too. Candy stripes paint the floors. Strange choice of decoration. Not surprising considering the strange situation itself.

"Ah, Shinya? It seems you've awoken. Feeling any better? That was a nasty shot you took for your friend." It seems reality came crashing in like a 2x4 to the face. Said shot wound decided to become antsy now that it's been spoken of. Ah yes, I took a shot for Guren.

Guren.

Gasping erupts from my sensitive chest. Such a name disturbing the peace in my lungs, heart, of course my head as well for that matter. Is he okay? Is he hurt in any way? A million questions race throughout my head, causing a century of a migraine.

"C-Calm down! P-lease!" I did feel bad for the nurse at one point. As if three words calm a panic attack. How childish. A sharp point pierces my skin. Every ounce of my attention is drawn to a shaky needle injecting God-knows-what into my forearm. It becomes quite evident what it was thankfully.

Anesthetics.

Things slowly dulled in my violent snake-like lungs. All that's on my mind however is Guren. Trying to leave this prison of sorts seems lethal. To one: This poor nurses health. Two: My veins eat these drugs like heroin. An addiction begging to cause trouble. A light silhouette barges into my tower-like cell. A sweet smell envelops my space. A welcomed lavender. I would like to smile, sadly the anesthetic of choice was a wonder-drug. At least sleep shall finally be loved in my body. Being caressed by Guren Ichinose himself.

Maybe I can experience...love.

°Through the eyes of violets, the wonderful age of 16°

Never in my disoriented state did I think I would stumble upon Shinya's room, who I was searching for ferverently pior. Huddled up in a ball of sorts, it struck a chord inside me. I snuggled him. Is this rape? Spooning someone doped on anesthetics? I hardly cared. Though it hurt my heart, a smile adorned Shinya's features.

A Broken Smile.

(Author note!: I'm so sorry this is super short but I'd feel bad if this rotted in my drafts for all of eternity. If I'm feeling cute, I might post a full chapter /(*^*)/ haha jk because you'd never get an update that way!)
