Alpha Rogue

This a re-edited verison of my story 'I'm What!?' I decided I didn't like my first idea for it so I rewrote it, there are still similar things and the beginning is mostly the same but with new characters and a new plot idea. I hope you all enjoy it, please leave me some comments and feed back it'd help me a lot.

Kali POV

*beep*

*beep*

*beep*

"Arrgh, alright I'm up!" I groaned as I reached up an turned off my alarm clock, sitting up slowly I ran my fingers through my tangled hair. The sun hadn't came up yet so it was still dark outside when I glanced at the window. Groaning again I oushed my covers to the side and climbed out of my queen size bed, making  my way over to my dresser, I pulled out my favorite shirt that had a red rose with vines wrapping around a dagger, my favorite black skinny jeans, a matching bra and unerwear and a pair of my favorite toe socks.

I made my way out of my room and down the hall to the bathroom, getting a quick shower, I got out then threw on my clothes. Looking at myself in the mirror, I brushed my teeth then applied some simple makeup, little bit of eyeliner and some lip gloss. I already had naturally long eyelashes so I never wore mascara unless it was something important.

Let me intruduce myself, my name is  Kali. I'm eightteen years old, I have dark brown almost black hair that reaches just below my shoulder blades, my eyes are crystal blue with some green flecks, I'm about 5' 6" and have curves in all the right places.  Also I'm a werewolf, my wolf Amarie is a soft gray with a white under belly, her eyes  are the same as my normal eyes.

Once I knew I looked good I made way back out into the hall, I had to wake up my older brother  Colton. He was only two years older then me but it was more of me being the responsible one. 

 "YO! Colton, time to get up!" I shouted as I opened his door, clothes, video games and skateboard stuff were scattered everywhere in his room. Sometimes I wondered how he moved around or found anything in his room.

"Ok, ok.... I'm awake..." he mumbled. As he rolled over and waved his hand at me. I closed his door and made my way down stairs to make breakfast for everyone. Even though my mom doesn't eat hers till later, so I put it in the fridge for her. She never ate with us anymore...not since my father was killed by rogues when I was only thirteen.

Colton ran into the kitchen in just  a shirt and boxers, his blonde hair sticking up everywhere. "WHY AREN'T YOU FULLY DRESSED!?" I screamed at him. 

His eyes widened at me screaming at him, "Huh?" He looked down at himself, "Oh crap, I thought I was." He turned and ran back up stairs. I swear he'd forget his head if it wasn't attached to his body.

When he came back down he had pants on this time, and I had already finished eating my breakfast. "Eat, then grab your bag and meet me in the truck. We have to pick up the twins and I also have to drop off some paper work at Miss Mary's." I said over my shoulder as I made my way to the front door, only to have him come running past me with baccon hanging out of his mouth.

When I got to my truck Colton was sitting in the back, I tossed him my bag since I had the paper work that had to be dropped off at Miss Mary's up front on the passenger seat.

We lived in a small country house surround by two acres of woods, it was nice and quiet, away from the city life and also away from other packs. This was no man's terriorty, yes my family and I are rogues but we're not like how everyone thinks we are. Yeah most rogues are dangerous but we are peaceful, we left my old pack after my father was killed, he was the alpha and when he was killed the rogues that killed him took over the pack forcing my mom to leave or have her and her children killed. So we made our home here, there are a few other wolves here too but they are wolves that left with my mother when she left the pack.

 Starting up the truck and making my way down our dirt drive way that connected to the main road. Miss Mary is our neighbor if you want to call her that, she lived about three miles down the road from us. She runs a dog shelter, which I worked at after school. Your probably thinking 'aren't animals afraid of werewolves' well you'd be right except for dogs. They feel safe with us, I think its a canine thing.

As we came up to the turn off that was the entrance of Miss Mary's drive way, I could already hear the dogs barking. They always got excited when they heard  a car coming down the drive way. When we got closer to the house the barking was louder and three big dogs came running up to the truck barking excitedly, they were Mary's own dogs; Rocket, Roller, and Mud.

Rocket was a retired old racing greyhound, he was all white with the exceptionof some tan on his head, his eyes were a beautiful blue. Mary had him for  a couple years now and he was a good dog, very high spirited in his old age.

Roller was a doberman mix that had been tossed out of moving car and Mary had found him on the out skirts of town starving. She had him for about two years now and he was doing good behavior wise.

Now Mud was my favorite out of the three, he was a beige great dane that had found his own way to Miss Mary's. He's a big sweetheart with big brown eyes and his teddy bear personality.

"Hey boys." I smiled at them as I got out of my truck giving each one a few ear rubs. Before making my way towards the house, it was a nice little white house that sat on the otherside of a small creek. 

"KALI, OVER HERE DEAR!" 

Turning around I saw that Miss Mary was over at the barn so I jogged over to her, she's a nice old lady and is like a grandmother to me. Her hair was always in a long braid down her back, she was native american and always told me stories of her people which I enjoyed and alos it hlped me a lot with my history homework. But I swear sometimes she knew about me and my family begining wolves.

"What brings you here so early in the morning dear, shouldn't you be heading to school?" She smiled at me and placed her arm around my shoulder. Leave it to her to get straight to the point. "I stopped by to give you the documents from the vet for those dogs that were dropped off last week."

"Oh thank you dear, but you didn't have to bring them right away." She rubbed my shoulder and we made our towards my truck. "I was passing by anyway." I gave her a reasuring smile before opening up the drivers door and reaching over the front seat to grab the documents. Turning back around I held the vanilla folders out to her. Giving me her cheerful smile like always she took them and gave me a quick hug.

"Now you two should get going before your late for school. Giving her a slight nod I hopped up in the truck and closed the door, "I'll be back later today." 

She waved her hand for me to get going, "I'll see you then dear. Take care Colton." Colton gave her a wave goodbye as I was backing up to turn around. Then I headed back down the driveway and back onto the main road. 

It took us about half an hour to get into town, turning down a few roads I pulled up to a little blue house that had white trimming. The garage door was opened so I parked outside it, and leaned on the horn.

"Who's making all that noise?" A tall man with dark brown hair and deeply tanned skin  that was in his late forties came out of the garage wipping his hands on a rag. "Hi Mr. Kent, I'm just here to pick up the guys. They up ad ready?" Mr.Kent or Kieth, was a friend of the family, he was my fathers beta when we were in the pack and him an his wife Annabel helped my mother after my fathers death. 

He was a very funny guy when you get him on his good days, he was like a second father to me and my brother too. He gave me a smile as he leaned against the door, "Well they should be, they were up earlier this morning playing those damn video games again." Mr.Kent didn't like game systems, computers or any other thing that kept people inside instead of outside doing stuff. His favorite motto that he told all us kids growing up was 'if you want to have fun, go outside and have fun'.
