Okay so if you're someone like me who grew up watching the old cartoon network shows then you'll remember the original Powerpuff Girls, and you forgot about the new one because nobody gives a shit.
But anyways I was on the subreddit r/thanks I hate it and I came across something I really wish I didn't. Btw I'm going to be paraphrasing a lot of this.
So in a lot of fanart of the show, people always draw them with fingers, noses, and toes, but this is just not canonically correct, it's not even a stylistic choice they actually don't have fingers.
Apparently, Buttercup just sticks her hands to things to pick them up (season 3 episode 29 crisscross crisis). And in Oops, I did it again (season 6 episode 4b) the girls are made without chemical X and actually come out looking normal ie, hands, normal faces, and feet.
So basically what I'm saying is that when in the show they're called bug-eyed or pumpkin heads, they're legit. So I think we can all say that The Powerpuff Girls are objectively horrifying so I looked up realistic fanart of them and it's a perfect example of the saying be careful what you wish for.Sweet fucking Jesus.
But going back to how the girls can pick up things despite not having fingers.
Initially, I thought they had tiny hooks at the end of their nubs that they use to pick things up, kind of like how Spiderman can climb up walls, but the problem is that it wouldn't work on smooth surfaces.
They could also have wrinkled pads like geckos feet, which would allow them to stick to smooth surfaces. But they wouldn't have enough suction to grip heavier objects.
I think the solution is much worse.
I haven't slept for a fucking week.
