3RD PERSON P.O.V
"Mum I'm nervous, I don't know if I can get married" y/n cried out to her mother.
Y/n was getting married to her long time boyfriend Tom of 3 years. They loved each other unconditionally but the fear of marriage creeped upon her shaking body.
"Sweetheart just relax alright? I know marriage can seem nerve-wracking but trust me, Tom is a great guy and I think you're making the right choice" Her mother pleaded
"Well if he is such a great guy, how about you marry him alright?" She scoffed at her mother
"Woah woah y/n! No need to act like bridezilla relax! Remember the day he proposed to you...How did you feel?"
Y/n hesitated for a second
"...Amazing!"
"Amazing exactly! Just take time to yourself, think about that day, the day he got down one knee and asked for you to be his wife"
With that y/n's mother got up from her seat and walked out of the room. y/n laid her head against the chair and her daydreams became the best of her. Her eyes started to become heavy and she fell in a deep sleep.
FLASHBACK
"Hey babeee ready to go? By the time we get there I'll be 45!" Tom screamed as he was waiting at the front door
"Coming sweetheart just give me one more minute!" y/n screamed back at him.
It was y/n and Tom's three year anniversary and Tom wanted to make it special and wanted to take her out on a special date. He told her to dress fancy and so she did...but maybe it took a little longer than expected.
She quickly grabbed her purse and ran down the steps to see Tom checking his watch. Once hearing the footsteps Tom gaped his mouth open to see his beautiful girlfriend wearing a dress that fit her snug in all the right places.
"Well I'll be damned y/n y-you look absolutely beautiful" Tom smiled
"Tom like always, you look fantastic!" y/n said as she kissed his cheek.
Tom wrapped his arm around her back and looked down at his gorgeous girlfriend.
"Shall we head out my dear lady?" He asked mocking with a Victorian style British accent
y/n looked up at her boyfriend's mesmerizing brown eyes, every time she looked at him she could feel herself falling in love with him every single time.
"We shall my good sir" She laughed mocking Tom's Victorian accent.
The couple walked out of the house and onto the porch. Before walking down the steps Tom pulls out a bandana and places it around y/n's eyes. Y/n gasped as she almost slipped down the stairs but regained balance.
"Tom why are you blindfolding me?"
"It's a surprise y/n"
"I don't like surprises"
"Trust me y/n you'll love it" He said as he smiled.
Y/n complied and allowed him to put on the blindfold without flinching.
The blindfold was on tight and Tom held y/n's hand and guided her towards the car.
Y/n feared the worst but at the same time felt safe. She knew that Tom wouldn't do any harm, but what was the surprise he wanted to share with her?
The ride was short, Tom made sure to never let go of y/n's hand, which was shaking the whole time.
Tom was going to propose to y/n. He had rented out Central Park, had people decorate the park with street lamps, all with a light blue color. He had a friend lay out a blanket and put all of her favorite foods there with beverages to match. After eating that is when Tom is going to propose to her.
