Jason's POV

I try to call her again her phone goes to voicemail, my guess is she switched it off.

I'm not really worried about where she is now because an SMS from the credit card company showed a payment made twenty minutes after she had left our apartment which was a relief to me.

The Highway motel is only 15 minutes away from here. And now I'm tempted to go to her and just see if she's okay. I'm really worried as to how she's feeling today, Of course she's hurt but at least if she spoke to me got angry with me hit me or something I mean the silence worries me. Not even a tear I'm fucking worried.

I take a shower and put on my black basketball shorts, sweater and sneakers.

I grab my phone, keys and lock up my front door I pull out the parking lot and drive straight to the motel.

I pull up at the parking and go to the small reception, theres only a desk and an old fashioned computer a guy is sitting behind it and he's on his phone which he quickly puts it away as soon as he sees approach his desk.

"Oh hi Sir, may I help you?"

"Yeah sure, umh look I'm looking for someone she booked a room this morning around three or four am her name is Cassie..."

"I'm sorry sir but I can't give out that..."

"Look shes my girlfriend" I growl at him but stop as soon as I realize he's the only person that could help me right now so I start again trying not piss this piss of shit nerd in front of me.

"look her phones off I can't get a hold of her can't you just check, look man I ain't looking for trouble. She used my credit card to pay for the room."

I hand over my licence card to him bare in mind I don't want to start any shit with this guy he's my only option right now to get to Cassie. As much as I would like to fuck up his face for not doing as I say I can't mess it up maybe when I'm leaving I can teach him a thing or two about doing what he's told.

"Oh, Cassandra Monroe, alright umh she's in room B10..."

As soon as he says B10 I grab my licence from him and sprint upstairs. I see the door I think about knocking but what if she doesn't let me in, either way I don't have a  key so I grab the doorknob and turn it trying my luck and whoah I'm in luck not everyday things go my way.

I mentally yell 'YES' the door isn't locked my heart starts to do some somersaults with happiness but I also think to myself why the fuck is the door not locked I mean why is she so careless this is something I really have to talk to her about.

I close the door behind me and lock it, my gaurd is always up with the job I do. As soon as I hear the shower going a sign of relief escapes me.

Her bags are open on the floor, everything is scattered all over the place.

The bed isn't made and there's no sign she's eaten.

I open the blinds and the window then start to make her bed while I wait, there's a pamphlet with a takeaway menu from downstairs I then order for her a meal, she needs to eat. If she was home I know for a fact she would be grateful for coffee so I order a chicken mayo sandwich plus her black coffee.

She comes out and she's wrapped around in a really small white towel which covers basically nothing. She stops at her tracks towards the bed when she sees me

"Jason!" She yells at the top of her lungs

I just stare at her, she's being bitchy for no reason and I'm not going to entertain that she must know me by now because she calms down and asks very softly
