The Chase That Lead Him To Me

Mums reaction wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I could tell she was half asleep and maybe even still a little drunk cause when she walked in, not only did she trip run into the glass door but she also walked in and went straight over to Niall. She grabbed his face in her hands and started stroking his cheek.

‘Were the girls good Daniel?’ She asked Niall who she obviously thought was Daniel. I guess it was the blonde hair.

‘Yes, they were very well behaved.’ Niall said trying to mimic Daniel’s Australian accent.

Mum just nodded then stumbled off into the kitchen. Everyone sighed of relief when she was out of sight.

‘That was so close.’ Charlie said from behind me.

‘I never thought I’d say this, but, thank god mum was drunk!’ I cheered. I heard another knock on the door and this time when everyone turned to the door we actually did see a large man with a serious look on his face. He glared at Daniel, the girls and I, but when he saw the boys standing there, unharmed his face relaxed. Not much. But he didn’t look like he wanted to kill me anymore.

‘I guess now we actually do have to get going.’ Zayn said walking towards the door.

‘But… I don’t wanna leave.’ Niall complained.

‘Don’t worry. We’ll see the girls tonight.’ Louis said patting him on the shoulder. Louis looked up to me and smiled. I grinned back.

The boys left quickly, jumping into the back of the van. Paul said thank you to us and then after giving us… it wasn’t really a smile but a look of approval. We waved as the boys drove out of the driveway.

I smiled at my phone and replied as Charlie, Madi and Courteney’s voices filled the car.

Ahh! We’re so excited! Thanks again for the tickets ;) You’re gonna kill it! Let’s do this!

I locked my phone and re-entered the conversation of the girls who were all in the back seat. I heard Daniel sigh from the front seat.

‘We too loud for you Daniel?’ Courteney laughed from the back seat.

Daniel laughed. ‘I guess I got myself into this when I offered to drive you.’

Courteney laughed. ‘Well this is nothing. Imagine the entire arena filled with screaming girls.’ Madi said.

‘I’m actually starting to respect these boys.’ Daniel laughed.

When we got to the venue we barely waited for Daniel to stop the car to get out. I thanked Daniel for driving us and told him I’d text him when we were ready to be picked up. He drove away and I turned back to the girls.

Charlie was wearing an amazing short red dress. It was skin tight down to her waist where it was tied off with a bow in the middle and then flowed out. She wore black heels and her hair was straightened. Madi was wearing blue and black galaxy pants, black heels and a white top with the word Imagine in the middle. Her long hair was curled at the bottom and she had pink lip gloss sparkling on her lips. Courteney wore a short white dress that ended just above her knees. She had a black waist belt around her middle, showing off her small waist. Her high heels were in fact high giving her nice height. She had put in hair extensions and so her light hair flowed down to her waist in beautiful waves. I was wearing black jeans and a blue and black flowy top that came off one shoulder with the word LOVE written in the middle with the pattern of the Union Jack on the letters. The girls had just about pinned me to the bed and forced my wedge heels on my feet. I rarely ever wore them and had them stored at the back of my cupboard but when they spotted them I knew there was no way of getting out of wearing them. My brown hair had been slightly curled and I wore a sliver necklace with the infinity sign on it.

We all grabbed the passes out of our bags and placed them around our necks.

‘Let’s do this!’ Charlie cheered imitating Niall. We all laughed and walked into the building.

We got past the doors easily, flashing our VIP passes and throwing cheeky smiles at other jealous fans when they saw our passes. We made our way into the arena and found our seats. They were dead centre of the stage in the second row! After minutes of fangirling we all took our seats as the arena filled up. The arena was just about packed with the loudest bunch of teenagers when the lights went down and five spot lights flashed up on stage revealing 5 familiar faces.

They all ran out to the front of the stage and in sync all brought the microphone up to their mouth.

‘We’re like na na na, then we’re like yeah yeah yeah.’ They all sung perfectly. We stood up and jumped around. Charlie flashing us some of her insane dance moves. Madi and Courteney had their cameras out and were filming and shouting and I was just standing there still in shock that I was even there. I watched the boys up on stage with the biggest smile on their faces. Louis managed to spot me in the audience and gave me a wink as he sung. As I watched each of the boys jump around doing their thing I knew, this was going to be the best night of my life.
