Sitting on my bed I debated to go downstairs or not, I let out a small undeciding sigh. I got up off my bed and slowly headed downstairs. I stopped on the last step and looked into the kitchen, Night was standing by the stove her hands on it and her unbrushed black hair covering her face so I assumed she was looking out the window. "Night" I said barely above a mutter, she looked at me and I searched her face for any emotion but I saw none, her brown eyes were dull. "Um" I hummed in a mutter, I walked over and jumped up on the counter where she stood, she let out an inaudible sigh and looked down at the stove, "Are you ok?" I asked softly, she shrugged slightly "yeah" she said with no emotion. I blinked "is it because your scared of shifting?" I asked softly, She shrugged again and walked toward the counter slowly "a little" I heard her mumble. I got up and walked over to her and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and she sighed, she looked up at me and I held her gaze, her gaze was always hard to hold. I blinked and looked away, "did you ever know you could shift?" Night asked me suddenly, I looked up at her a little suprised but she set her hands on the table and was staring down at it still, I shook my head "no" I muttered, "so you want me to help you?" She asked, I shrugged "uh I-I guess" I stuttered uncertain. She stood up and put on white shoes, and she took off her black loose jacket leaving her plain white short sleeve shirt, her black ripped shorts looking completely black in the lighting. Night walked over to me and slipped off my loose long jacket and set it on the counter I ran my hands on my arms cold without it and pulled down my white short sleeve crop top, "if you like those shorts I suggest you change them" Night said and walked toward the front door, I nodded slowly and went upstairs our shorts were pretty much the same except different colors. I change to long gray sweat pants which I would not wear usually unless I was sleeping. When I came back downstairs Night had some clothes in her hands hugging them to her chest, I tilted my head slightly, confused, "You'll know later" she said in a voice barely above a mutter. I nodded and followed her out the door. We walked into boundary forest and walked to a river flowing not far into it, I stopped and I heard Night sigh. "You'll have to get in" she said, I looked at her confused and she held my gaze sharply, I looked away and half slid half fell into the river something shot through my veins and I shivered, my head began to spin and I stumbled toward the dirt wall closest to Night, "mm" I mumbled freezing, I heard running footsteps and I thought I had fallen to some sort of trap, my muscles ached and hurt and then I was a wolf.
