The Utopia is basically earth, but mythical creatures are the top of the food chain. They are the dominant race in this timeline.
Backstory: Humans figured out genetic mutation and made mythical creatures as "exotic" pets/slaves. This backfired as the creatures, named Mythics, outbred humans and gained sentience. They didn't conquer the world, just lasted longer. After a decent amount of time, humans went extinct and Mythics just kinda left their history to die. Our present is treated like the Egyptian times to them since tech had advanced and this takes place in the VERY distant future. Mythics even forgot humans existed, thinking that our tech and such today was made by THEIR ancestors, not ours. Mythics would react to humans the same way we'd react to them in our world.
The City: The main city is around the size of the country of Russia, not including the vast underground level of the city. The city is fit to inhabit most if not all Mythics, with land faring Mythics on top and a tube/tank system for more aquatic Mythics to get around smoothly and comfortably. It's neighboring an ocean with a massive coral reef that Aquatics can chill in. The City itself is made to inhabit everyone, having several layers on top of each other to keep the population happy and in check. It's also very beautiful, covered in art, gardens, and overall, just things to make the place look nice.
Outskirts: the area outside of the city.
Delivery service: Instead of currency and such, food and furniture is depicted entirely on your job/career, depending on your job, you get more or less food, or you can ask for none if your character/species doesn't eat. You can also ask for daily bread/meat/etc. Food is delivered weekly. Most deliveries are made by harpies or bat people, depending on the time. Anything that a normal flyer can't handle is delivered via a dragon or any fit land creature.
Drs: Docter, scientists, and vets are now all the same job. Doctors care for the wounded but stick to the science stuff when their medical aspects aren't needed. They develope the new tech and make sure the city's as it should be.
Day/Night: Since there is such a variety of creatures in the city, a system has been made, dubbed the Narco system, for daytime and nighttime. When the sun is setting, a loud bell will be rung and the day mythics will go home and the nocturnal Mythics will come out. Though some creatures are allowed out whenever.
Souls. Mythics tend to be very connected to their souls. No, they can't take it out of their chest, no they don't have magic, they just tend to be a lot more in tune of their emotion. It is possible for them to be able to pick up on their soulmates soul at a limited distance. But this also backfires in the way of them also having a bigger chance of their emotions control their actions compared to us, while we have a relatively easy time controlling out feelings and masking them, they have quite a difficult time capping and keeping their emotions in check.
