Chapter 5

After that day, every time they hung out they would do the things they did at his house, but they would stop before they slept together. Sometimes they did it at his house and a few times at the park. She knew it was wrong but she'd like him so she did it anyways and she kept the secret from everyone especially River, Aria and Andrew. What Mickey and Nina did helped her stress over her father but also added stress to her dignity. Two months had past as they continued to play around, but soon after they started to play around they started to drift off. They talked, texted and spend once a week, then once every other week. When they did hung out it would be a few minutes or an hour, but at that time they would played around, and then he made excuses to leave her after they fooled around.

One day after they had their fun and left his house, they walked to Tim Horton. While they walked there, Mickey continued to text on his blackberry and then all of a sudden his phone rang. He answered his phone and started to talked about his work; after he hung up he told Nina that he needed to leave because his supervisor wanted him. He left her in front of Tim Horton. Nina thought it was a close coincident that while he walked with her, he had texted someone then a minute after he had gotten a call, it seemed like he had texted his friend to call him and tell him he had to go. A little part of her knew he had used her for his pleasure but she couldn't accept that, so it continued. River on the other hand would hang with her for a few hours, and they went to different places and saw different things. Nina and River continued to act like married couple as they were told by many. Nina never told River about Mickey but she knew he might have known because one night as they walked around downtown River asked a random question.

"Hey you know I saw you near Timmies on Thursday." River said.

"Oh really, then why didn't you say hey to me"

"Well I was going to but then I saw you with a guy"

"Oh..."

"Don't want to sound like I'm being nosey but who is that?"

"Oh you aren't but he's a friend of a friend. You know Lina. Since we live close together we hang out."

"Really? You guys are just friends?"

"Yup just friends" she said as she thought with benefits.

"Ok" he said as he wrapped his hand with hers.

When River walked Nina home, they walked in silence but a nice silence and hand in hand. River stopped Nina as they were in front of Tim Horton.

"Nina."

"Yup."

"Well... I've been thinking about... Never mind."

"Thinking about what.... Just tell me."

"No it's nothing."

"River, come on tell me... How bad can it be?"

"It's not that's its bad, it's just... I wanna... Kiss you" he said as his cheek turned bright red.

"Oh" she said as she smiled and whispered, "Yes."

As Nina said yes, River walked closer to her and moved a strain of blue hair to the back of her ear. He lifted her chin up a little and leaned in closer. Nina felt his sweet soft lips on hers and a tasted of tint of vanilla in his breath. When she kissed River, the kiss felt different from Mickey. The way River's kiss, felt passionate, soft, loving, and yet a little hungry for her kiss. The way Mickey had kiss her felt like he wanted to eat her up, and with a little roughness like that, there wasn't any love in his kiss. While they continued to kiss Nina noticed River wrapped his arms around her waist and she felt so cozy. She had never felt this way before when she had kiss Mickey; she wanted River but was unsure on where this relationship was about to head. She stopped her thoughts as it wondered around; she wrapped her arms around his neck. As they continued to kiss Nina felt a rain drop hit her arm, and then another until it started to pour on them. They broke away from each other and started to laugh together as they ran to Tim Horton to take cover. When they went inside River told Nina to find a table while he grabbed hot drinks. She found a free single table on the corner close to the door. As Nina sat down on her chair she felt like she was being stared at, she looked around to find the old creepy guy as he watched her with a mad smirk. He got up from his seat and walked to her table. He looked at River, made sure he was busy with the drinks before he leaned over and whispered, "You know you look so sexy when your soak and wet. Just the thought of your wet clothes touching your soft skin... Mmmm..... He must be a lucky guy to kiss you. Though I do remember and dream about your kiss every hour, and every minute. That sweet, soft and young lips with mine... Mmmmm...... Don't worry about me doing that again because I have my memories to keep me happy."
