As soon as I got home from work at Sals Froyo I went straight to my room to get changed. I put on a pair of black sweatpants and a white tank top. I was so excited because there were so many notifications from Shawn. My nights after work consist of me doing homework and tweeting:

"#SomethingBigIsHappening"

I'm so happy we get to find out what it is on November 10th! So like normal I tweeted:

"#SomethingBigIsHappening @ShawnMendes So excited to find out! I already know it'll be something amazing!"

I'm so happy for Shawn is all I was thinking as I walked downstairs to make dinner for my family before they got home from work. I made pasta with gravy and muffins for dessert. By the time it was all done my mom and dad had come home from work and the table was set. During dinner we barely talk to each other unless something big is happening which it is.

"So Shawn is having a meet and greet and I was wondering if I could go?" I asked nervously.

My mom looked at me with a blank expression.

"I don't know we'll have to think about it."

My dad on the other hand looked like he wanted to shove me out of the door already as he said, "I think that's a great idea as long as you have someone to go with. When is it?"

"November 3rd a month from today."

"I don't see a problem with that but you'll have to find a ride and pay on your own"

I could've screamed at that moment, but that all flowed out of me when my mom gave my dad and I a stern look and said, "We'll think about it nothing is decided yet." With that I finished my dinner and went back to my room.

I sat on my bed and grabbed my phone to check my twitter to see my notifications piling up. A lot of people were favoriting/retweeting my tweet to Shawn. Looking at my notifications I saw that Shawn retweeted my tweet and followed me. Now this is my screaming moment. My parents must have been horrified because they were in my room seconds later.

"S-S-SHAWN M-MENDES FOLLOWED ME!"

They looked at me like I had three heads and said, "Is that seriously what you were screaming about!? We thought someone was in your room. Don't ever scream like that again unless it's something major!" My mother was fuming.

I didn't even care that it looked like she was going to kill me. I had a smile on my face for the rest of the night.
