I got to the house around 6:00 pm. Dad was cooking dinner and Father was out at his new job.
"Welcome home Kuro! How was your first day?" He asked. I shrugged and flopped onto the couch, tossing my bag and taking my scarf and hood off. "It was interesting..."I said, pulling out my sketchbook to continue the sketch from before.
"Interesting?" He asked. "You've never said that before" he chuckled. "You normally say 'oh it was borning' or 'nothing happened'. What was so interesting about today?" He giggled, continuing to cut the carrots.
"I think I made friends," I said, working on the sketch. I heard the chopping stop, and my dad walked into the living room from the kitchen.
"You made friends!?" He asked smiling ear to ear and holding his hands together. I Shrugged.
"I guess...?" I said, not looking away from my journal. Father walked in.
"I'm home," He said, Dad ran over and hugged him lovingly.
"Oh Nana!" he said, looking up. "Our baby has finally made friends! Real-life friends!" Father's jaw dropped and he picked up dad, spinning him in the air. I glared at them, not even trying to hide the laughter booming from me. I got up, got my bag, and headed to my room.
"Kuro, aren't you going to tell us more about your new friends?" Father asked, putting dad down.
"Nah," I said, continuing up the stairs. "I'm pretty tired after being, you know, social and stuff. Goodnight Dad, Goodnight Father" I went to my room, hearing them say 'sweet dreams' before shutting my door.
I unlocked my collar and plopped onto my bed, looking outside. The night sky was beautiful against the mountains. I opened my window and gazed into the stars. The cold breeze swept over me, making my every breath visible. As I stared into the illuminated dark, my mind wandered.
I rubbed my neck. Sometimes, I wish I did have a mate. That way I wouldn't need to wear that stupid collar like a dumb animal. Maybe having a mate wouldn't be that bad. I'd have someone to hold me, to care about me, to love me. I shook my head.
"Must be going through heat soon..." I went over to my bag and took a suppressant before closing my window and snuggling under my blankets. Slowly, I drifted off to sleep.

The moon was full. As I ran through the darkened forest with my red hood, I could hear my heart beat faster. Rushing through the trees, I heard them. It was getting closer by the second. His howls filled the quiet night. Just as I saw the lake within view, something grabbed my waist and pinned me to the ground. His Vibrant eyes stared into mine. My heartbeat quickened as my body grew hot.
"What big Eyes you have," I said to him.
"Better to see your irresistible Body, my dear" He grinned.
"What Big Ears you have," I said, biting my lip as my breath grew heavy.
"Better to hear you moan, my dear." He licked my neck, his wolfish ears flickering.
"What a big mouth you have," I said as his hand trailed my body and all of its curves.
"Better to eat you with, my dearest Kuro" His lips came close, drifting right above my own.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP" My alarm went off. I slammed my alarm clock off before I jumped out of bed, panting. My face was hot and red. I grabbed my pillow, shoving my face into it and let out a short scream. What was that dream even about? I only remember parts of it, but from what I could remember... I dug my face deeper into the pillow. Yeah, definitely going to have a heat soon. I got up and got dressed, putting my collar on and locking it in place. I took another suppressant and grabbed my bag, heading downstairs.
