I wake up at 7:00 on a warm Saturday morning. I had a fresh feeling because today was the first day of summer. I go downstairs and have some breakfast when my mom says "do you remember that you and Josh are going to the Griers house while Mrs.Grier and I are shopping?" "Ugh mom I totally forgot, do I have to go?" I say in utter disappointment. "Yes, you do, it will also make you and Nash closer since you've only known each other since you were 5! You can bring your phone but I don't want you to be on it the whole time, they have a pool so bring your bathing suit, ok?" My mom replies. "Fine." I say in an angry tone.
We finally arrive at the Grier's house and we head inside. As we walk in the door my mom and Mrs.Grier hug each other tightly because they have been best friends since they were little and they haven't seen each other in 2 years.
Then they head out as my little brother, Josh and I walk into the house. Josh see's Hayes and they go into Hayes' room and hang out. I see Nash sitting on the couch with one of his friends. I head over to the table surrounding the kitchen and sit down on one of the stools, as I go on my phone.
About an hour of Hayes and Josh being in one room and Nash, his friend and I in another room all on our phones I say "Do you have any food in this house?" "You know we are human, we eat believe it or not." Nash says as he stands up from the couch. "Well can I have some?" "No Maggie, you can't have any food." Nash says as he looks at me dumbly and starts to laugh. "I actually go by Meg now." I explain to Nash. "Whatever you say Maggie." Nash says as he smiles this smirky grin. "Oh yeah, Maggie this is Cam and Cam this is Maggie." I say hi to Cam and he says hi back as Nash gets some crackers from a cabinet above the stove. We all sit down at the table eating our crackers. "Anything new Mr.Nash?" I ask as I giggle at the name I used to call him 7 years back. "Not really Mrs.Meggie." Nash replies as I glare at him and then we both start to laugh.
Josh and Hayes come out of Hayes' room as Hayes says "We're bored, we've been playing xbox for an hour." Nash suggests that we go swimming in the pool and everyone agrees. I go into the bathroom and change into my pink bathing suit, after that I head outside with my phone and a towel. Everyone is in the pool except for Cam and I. I'm videotaping Josh jumping off of the diving board and Cam is doing something off in the house. I keep recording when suddenly Cam comes up from behind me and pushes me into the pool.
"Cam you are so lucky I had my lifeproof on." I say laughing. "Hey Mags that sure was vine worthy, glad I got it all on video." Nash says as we all start to laugh.
After swimming for a while I get out and sit on one of the chairs by the pool, on my phone. Cam then gets out and talks to Nash about something while Nash is still in the water. I get up from my seat and tip toe over to Cam while recording on my phone. I go behind Cam and push him in as he turns around, hugs me and pulls me in with him, almost like he planned it all. Before I got pushed in I was all dry and Now Cam and I are both soaking wet. "Thanks Cam, I really needed that." I say as I can't stop laughing.
