Chapter 01: An unexpected begin

07/03/2019.
That's when it all started.
She was by all means, hopeless about online dating. After all she went through: A big heartbreak and some affairs here and there, followed by a distant relationship that ended one year and a half ago, she just got tired of it all. She decided to focus on her and her career only. Her name is Aeris. Veterinary student, last year of college. She went through a lot of internships to get experience and raise the level of her CV but she doesn't really believe in herself. Anxiety and depression episodes were and are frequent since her childhood. Somehow she managed to fight through all these years but even so that feeling she isn't capable is always on her mind..
She play games,play piano and craft some cosplay items for her cosplays in order to distract her mind from these destructive thoughs. It helps most of the time. She has one of those dating apps installed on her phone nonetheless,in case she changed her mind. She didn't.
She spent this one year and a half without looking or searching for anyone and subsequently not kissing anyone.

Until 07/03/2019.

It was nighttime. She was scrolling through Tinder and found a nerdy guy just like her.His name was Zack, a civil engineer, researcher. He works in a institute that belonged of one of the best brazilian universities. He is also on his 2nd year of doctorate in this same university.
She instantly fell for him because she always felt so godamn attracted to inteligent guys. Some girls go over the moon for rich guys, cars and status. She, for instance, thinked that this was bullshit. She only had eyes for hardworking guys and didn't care about their origin or if they came from a humble family. As long as they were honest and affectionate towards her, that was enough.
They literally matched.
She saw but didn't expect anything.
He texted her with these words "it seems we are people with a great taste(specifically RPG) hahaha" to which she replied "oh yes,we are" and some ranting about how that chat was horrible to type. They gave each other their phone numbers not knowing what was to come..
