Legends {Katsuki Bakugou x Reader}

Chapter twelve

I raise my eyebrow and curl my lip in disgust.

"It better not be one of those horny old men hitting up children" I mutter to myself.

I reply:

'That depends, who is this?'

The person replies:

'Just don't panic, you'll teleport here kid'

I sigh in relief.

"Shigaraki"

I quickly open my phone and send a message to Bakugou.

'I'm going to take a shower. I'll be quick'

I set my phone on my bed before I feel something come up my throat. I cough up some thick grey goo. The goo consumed me and I step onto hardwood floor. I look around and notice I am in an abandoned house.

I notice the league standing around calmly.

"Is this the new hideout?" I ask looking around.

"Eh its a work in process" Dabi says.

I look around and notice that everyone is here for once. Except for one person.

"Where's Kurogiri?" I ask.

Shigaraki looks away.

"He got caught by the police" he mutters.

I was about to freak out before he cut me off.

"Don't panic, he's just getting our leader for us. This is all part of the plan" Shigaraki says.

I glare at him before sighing.

"Have you eaten anything today or yesterday?" I heard Dabi ask.

"Pardon?" I say.

"You haven't have you?" He questions.

"I guess I just haven't thought to eat." I say realizing I haven't eaten recently.

Actually the thought of large meals kind of makes me uncomfortable.

"You need to eat something" Toga says.

"Oh I'm good, not really hungry" I say wearily.

"No you are eating. It doesn't have to be big but it has to be something" Dabi says. "You're recent stress has caused your mind to focus more on thoughts and not anything else"

I sigh and rub my forehead.

"Alright make it quick, I have a boyfriend to get home to"

I finish gagging as I land in my room. I flop on the floor and cough. I lay there for a while before sitting up.

I wash my face and wet my hair so it looks like I took a bath. I quickly walk out of my dorm and down the hall to the elevator.

I make it to the commons to see Kaminari attacking Jirou with compliments.

"It's so cool that you're so good with instruments!" He says making her flustered.

I smile at the sight of my angry boy ignoring the yelling. Everyone begins throwing ideas out about how we should have some sort of concert.

Jirou finally breaks and decides to help make a band. She begins talking about instruments that we need to play.

"The drums are the main part of a rock band. I can play the guitar, we need vocals, guitar and drums" Jirou says.

"Can anyone play the drums or sing?" She asks the class.

No one speaks and I look over at Kaminari.

"Didn't you say that your old school forced you to learn to play instruments?" Kaminari says looking at my boyfriend.

"Eh?" Bakugou says.

My eyes widen in shock and excitement.

"You should play!" I encourage him.

"As if" he says beginning to walk off.

"Yeah you're right, I heard playing the drums is difficult" Sero teases.

I've never seen someone grab drumsticks and sit at a drum set (that came out of nowhere) faster. I watch Bakugou hesitate before playing a quick measure of music.

Once he stops he glares at the whole class. Everyone, including me, stared at him in shock.

"Well?" He asks angrily.

"That- That was perfect" Jirou says in shock.

"That's Mr. Talented!" Mina says happily.

"You have to play at the festival!" Kaminari says.

I was about to go praise him before he seemed to get angrier.

"I ain't playing for this pointless shit" Bakugou says before walking off.

"Wait Bakugou please" Jirou says. "If you do this you'll be a good person"

"Nothing will come of it!" Bakugou says.

I now understand that he is actually upset.

"You guys are selling this as a stress reliever for the other departments aren't you? Doing shit like all of that in the name of 'stress relief' what else is it other than self-gratification?" Bakugou explains, "people like that sicken me, don't deserve my courtesy"

Everyone begins to think about the situation. A few get upset with him for sounding so rude.

"Did someone say something to him?" I mutter to myself.

He begins ranting again about how people think we enjoy getting targeted by villains.

"Everybody in U.A., I'll knock you dead with my sound!!" He finishes.

All of our classmates begin to get excited for the festival once again. I sit back and enjoy before I realize.

"What am I gonna do?" I ask out loud.

"Oh didn't we tell you already?" Mina says excitedly.

"You were elected to be in the beauty pageant" Momo says happily.

"EH?!" Both Bakugou and I say at the same time.

"Wowowowow, you hear that Bakugou? Other guys are going to see your girlfriend wearing hot clothes" Mineta pushes Bakugous buttons.

"Do I have a say in this?" I ask.

"Sorry, I don't think you do. Neijre was telling us about it" Ururaka explains.

"If you don't feel up to it, I can tell them that you don't want to. I'm sure they would understand because of what you are going through" Momo says.

I hesitate before shaking my head.

"No no, it's alright. I'll do it" I say calmly.

"I want to help pick your outfit!!" Mine says excitedly.

"I don't think you get to pick" Asui-Chan says.

"Mannnnn" Mina says getting sad
