The Assassins Mistake.
Corvina clutched the prince's hand in her lithe fingers, pulling him through the velveteen hallways. Every few seconds she would look back at his hungry smile, raising an eyebrow at his stare. His gray eyes raked over her dress like he was imagining what he would do, honey blonde locks brushing into his eyes. She liked that. She always wanted to try a prince. The man who followed her desperately, was indeed a prince and heir to the kingdom of Mariysol and he had no idea what she was capable of.
She was dragging him down the hallway but he knew the way to his room better than she did. One moment she was tugging him through the dark than he was pressed against her lips. He certainly was desperate and desperate men make easy targets. He wasn't soft or gentle as he opened her mouth and pressed in. She laughed breathlessly through her nose and returned the kiss with equal ferocity, her hands trailing up his back into his hair.
They stumbled against a door, his knee lifting and digging into the wood against Corvina's hip. Her fingers danced up and down his neck and spine as both his hands slid to either side of her rib cage, tracing the fabric with his thumb.
His teeth pressed against her bottom lip biting them lightly. Corvina let her hand drop to the doorknob before twisting it slightly. With both their weight combined they stumbled backward into the cool dark room and onto the carpeted floor. He held himself over her body before pulling her into a pile of pillows scattered on the floor. This was his room. A window was opened slightly allowing the flickering light of passing stars to dance across the floor. He laid over her again, his tongue pressing hers.
She threw one leg over his back, the dress slipping dangerously up her thigh. His mouth slid over her jaw, biting and kissing as she slid her hands beneath his shirt, running them up his bare skin. He shuddered against her lithe fingers ghosting his spine and pressed his teeth against her throat. After a few moments in the silence they began to lean upward, his hand undoing the back of her dress. The other hand slid away no doubt over his own clothes. Corvina let her hand drop away as his teeth trailed her bottom lip and jaw.
He let out a small grunt of surprise as a silver blade dug into his throat. Corvina laughed breathlessly.
"You're an assassin sent to kill me."
Than she felt something dig into her sternum. Her dark eyes, rimmed in smudged makeup dared a glance to her chest only to find a silver blade pressed to her heart. He let out a sound that was a mix between a growl and laugh.
"And you're a prince holding a knife to my heart."
She ran her tongue over her bottom lip before laughing dark and low.
"You're a murderer." A dark smile spread across both our swollen mouths.
"So are you."
Corvina laughed as he dug the blade deeper into her chest. She returned the gesture pressing her blade against his soft unguarded throat. They went silent against the cold breeze.
"How intoxicating," the murderous prince whispered before throwing the knife across the room and climbing on top of her as the blade clattered against the floor somewhere in the dark. She laid backwards as his knees landed on either side of her hips.
Her dark hair was spread across the pillows in a sort of dark halo. He found that appropriate for the assassin. He kissed her again, this time differently, her blade still pressed to his throat. She closed his eyes while he kissed her but he kept his open so he could watch her reaction. Than her knife dropped out of her grasp moments later and her hands slowly slid into his hair. He lowered himself so they were pressed closer. Perhaps they'd kill each other later.
