Discord Final Destination

Chapter 1

"You ready for New York?!" my friend Andrew asked. I nodded with a reply as I was too busy focusing on my phone. I was scrolling through the group chat my friends had to make sure everyone was ready and it seemed like everyone was.

"Hey Andrew have you seen my sunglasses?" I asked looking through my pockets.

"Here they are" Andrew replied as he tossed them to me. I caught them and put them on.  

"So what are we gonna do first when we get there?" Andrew asked. I zipped up my bookbag full of snacks, water bottles, and some books just incase I get bored. I looked at my phone again to see I got a text from Dom.

"Hey were at Broadview Park" It read.

"Ok be there in 15 minutes" I replied. I grabbed my keys and looked at Andrew.

"You ready?" I asked smiling. Andrew nodded silently as we both headed out the door  and got in my car. I turned the car on hearing that nice humming noise from it.  I began to drive towards Broadview Park as I stuck my hand out of the window with the other one on the wheel. When arrived at Broadview I noticed my other friends Jason, Dom, and Emilie. Emilie was a new member of our friend group but she's really cool.

"Hey Alex" Dom said as he gave me a hug. 

"Hey" I replied. I looked at the others who smiled at me. "You guys ready?" I asked. Everyone cheered and clapped as we all laughed. I noticed Andrew give Dom a dirty look when he wasn't looking. I always knew Andrew didn't like Dom so I hope he doesn't start anything. "Ok just follow me so you guys don't get lost" I said.

"Well obviously" Jason said laughing. I walked back to my car along with Andrew and got in and started the car again. As I began to drive off I saw Andrew put his earbuds in and look out the window.

"Can I ask something?" Andrew asked. 

"Sure go ahead" I replied.

"Out of everyone you know why did you have to invite Dom?" He asked.

I sighed. "I knew this question would come and I have two reasons. 1. You guys are like my only friends and 2. I've known Dom since we were in kindergarten" I replied. Andrew went silent as I continued to drive to New York. We soon arrived at New York and I looked out the window to see huge towers in the distance.

"This is so amazing" I thought as I continued to drive. I soon parked at a tower and got out.

"Why'd we stop?" Andrew asked.

"I just wanna get some pictures" I replied. 

"Ok be quick" Dom said huffing. I rolled my eyes at him. I knew Dom was really short on paitence but hey you don't get to go to another state every time.

I walked into the building and Gasped at all the beautiful designs I'm seeing. 

"You guys have to come in!" I Yelled as the walls echoed my voice. They soon all came in as we all took pictures of the view. I continued to take pictures when I backed up and hit my head on something.

"Ow" I rubbed my head as Jason looked at me.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Yeah just hit my head" I nodded as I continued to take pictures. We were all laughing until we felt the ground shake. 

"What was that?" Emilie asked clearly freaked out. 

"I'm sure it was nothing" Dom replied.

"No that was clearly something" Andrew said. I saw Emilie lean on a ledge of the tower as it broke under her making her plumet to the ground.

"Emilie!" Dom yelled. 

"Come on lets get out of here!" Andrew yelled. We began to run but before we could go anywhere I turned around to see a big chunk of the building fall onto Andrew crushing him.

"Oh my god!" Jason yelled out. Before we could move anymore A glass shark came out o nowhere stabbing it in Jason's throat. 

"Come on lets go!" Dom yelled as he grabbed my arm and we ran away. I tried to get in my car but my hands were all sweaty. I looked back as I saw a piece of the tower come towards us.

"Oh shit" I said. I gasped for air as My face was all clammy and pale. 

"Hey you ok?" Emilie asked tapping my shoulder. "You were out of it for a few minutes" 

"yeah I'm fine" I replied as I walked into the tower. I gazed at the beautfiul view until I hit my head.

"Ow" I said rubbing my head.

"You Ok?" Jason asked.

"Yeah I just hit my.... head" I replied. My eyes went wide as I looked at everyone. "We have to get out of here!" I said not meaning to yell. 

"Why? Whats wrong?" Andrew asked.

"I'll tell you later just follow me" I replied dashing out of the tower aswell as my friends. When we got out I felt the ground shake. 

"Whats going on?!" Dom said with fear in his eyes. We all watched in terror as the tower fell to the ground in front of us. 

"Oh my god!" Jason yelled out.

"Come on lets just get to our hotel rooms" I said. I walked to my car and started it as I waited for the others. When Andrew was with me and the others were in Doms car. Luckily the hotel rooms weren't  that far so we only had to drive another 10 minutes. When we got there we checked into our rooms and everyone looked at me.

"What?" I asked stiffening up.

"What the hell happened to you?" Emilie asked. I sighed as I sat on the bed.

"Theres a lot I need to tell you" I replied. They all sat around me ready to listen and I felt my face go clammy. 

"How am I going to tell them?" I thought.
