Truth; Nick

You were currently at your best friend, Nick's house that he shared with his band mates, playing games and watching movies.
"What should we do now" Austin asked, "we've literally played every board game we own and watched every movie Y/N brought"
Every one looked around thinking of what to do when Edwin piped up.
"What about Truth or Dare?" He asked, looking at everyone.
An array of sure's and why not's floated around the room.
"There's nothing else to do" you shrugged.
"Ok who's first?" Zion spoke up, from the bean bag chair in the corner.
Thinking briefly to a time back in middle school when you played truth or dare, you remember the twist that your friends added.
"Why don't we use a bottle?" Everyone looked at you in confusion. "To choose who goes each time, we spin the bottle and whoever it lands on gets to ask someone of their choosing 'truth or dare'"
"Sounds good to me, I'll go get a bottle" Austin jumped up off of the couch he was sharing with Brandon to grab a bottle from downstairs.
When he comes back into the living room with a metal water bottle, he sets it on the coffee table and plops back onto the couch, making Brandon falter from his previous position.
"I'll spin it first" Edwin says as he sits up from his laying position on the sectional you, him and Nick were sharing. He puts the bottle on it's side and spins it once. It spins and spins, slowing down not too long after, landing on Brandon.
"Ok, Brandon" Edwin speaks in a sing-songy voice pointing in his direction. "Who do you choose"
Brandon looks at everyone in the room once until he stops on you.
"Y/N, truth or dare?" He says lifting an eyebrow.
Knowing where this was going you say "Dare" not ready to speak your truth, just yet.
"I dare you to stand on the sidewalk outside of our neighborhood and moon the next person that drives by" Brandon laughs maniacally, knowing that this will make Nick upset.
"Ok" you said confidently standing up "let's go"
Everyone stands up and walks outside to the edge of the neighborhood where it's busier than the residential road that the boys live on.
Nick stands back behind the group, his head turned to the side, not wanting to watch this go down.
"Ok, here comes a car, get ready!" Zion yells pointing to a white Audi coming up the hill.
You turn around and wait for the car to reach the top of the hill, and right before passing you by, you yank your shorts and underwear down in one go and stick your butt out, earning a loud honk from the driver of the car.
"OHHHHH, SHE ACTUALLY DID IT!" Edwin screamed, jumping on you after you pull your shorts back up.
"Ok let's head back it's hot as hell out here" Austin says shielding his eyes from the bright sun.
As you all turn around to go back to the house, you notice that Nick was being really quiet, so you hang back as the rest of the guys walk back to the house.
"Hey" you say nudging your best friend. He looks up at you and flashes a fake smile that lasts a split second.
"Hey" he says with a hint of an attitude.
You stop walking and grab his arm when he starts to walk past you.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"Nothing"
"Bullshit, don't lie to me"
"What's going on? I don't think you should've done that!" Nick yells pointing to the spot where you had previously mooned someone.
"What? The game? I chose dare and that was the dare" you yelled back oblivious to the real issue.
"You know what? Forget it" Nick spit before turning back and heading toward the house again.
When you and Nick get back in the house, the boys were laughing loudly in the living room.
"There you guys are, we continued the game without you" Brandon said as you entered the room with Nick.
"That's fine, we'll just jump in here" Nick said trying to calm down after your talk.
You sit on opposite sides of the sectional this time as Edwin spins the bottle.

After about 30 minutes of truth or dare, everyone was getting tired of it, but Edwin hadn't gotten a chance to ask someone yet.
"Ok Edwin, who do you want to ask?" Austin asks, trying to get the mayonnaise out of his hair from a previous dare, with a paper towel.

"Nick, truth or dare?" Edwin smiles.
Tired of getting dared to do stupid shit, Nick says truth and somehow you know what was coming next.
"What are your true feelings about Y/N?"
Everything goes silent, everybody made jokes about yours and Nick's friendship and always speculated that there was more to it, but neither of you had confirmed it, with them or each other.
Nick's head snaps to Edwin, with a look of worry in his eyes.
"Uh- um, I- uh" Nick sighs before putting his head down on his knees. It felt like forever before he sat up and turned towards you, holding eye contact.
"I love her. I always have, I've had feelings for her since the day we met. They've only gotten stronger. Everything she does makes me want to be apart of her life, forever." you gasp at this new information but don't look away from Nick, who hasn't broken eye contact with you. "And earlier when you went through with your first dare, I had mixed emotions because I care so much about you. Jealousy, because a damn stranger has seen you naked before I have. Anger, because the guys came up with it, but also because you went through with it. And admiration, because you went through with it. You are 100% yourself all the time and backing down from that dare is not in your nature, and I knew that. I was just frustrated earlier, and I'm sorry I walked away from you, but I just want to be with you."
Everything was spinning. You couldn't focus on anything but Nick, and the fact that he has always had the same feelings that you've always had for him. He was staring intently at you, as were the rest of the guys, waiting for your response.
You were speechless. You couldn't think of anything to say, except for three words.
You stand up from your spot on the sectional and slowly make your way to where Nick was. You sit down in front of him, pulling your legs up and crossing them in front if you. You look into his eyes for a while before putting your hands on either side of his face gently and leaning forward. You press you forehead to his, and whisper against his lips "I love you too".
As soon as you get the words out Nick's lips smash into yours and his arms wrap around your torso.
The guys cheer and jump up and scream "finally!!" but all you see is Nick. You pull away, needing to breath, but your foreheads stay pressed together, you look into Nick's eyes and say again "I love you Nick Mara" he smiles wider that you've ever seen him smile before. He pecks your lips before saying
"I love you y/f/n y/l/n"
