"What" you mumbled, barely awake.
"It's 2 a.m and you're already falling asleep, do you just wanna stay here?" Your best friend, Nick asked you. You and Nick quite a history together, but just haven't labeled it, you spend a lot of time together though.
"Mhmm" you've been to his house a billion times, but this would be the first time you've spent the night.
Yawning, you stood up from the couch and looked over at Nick as he turned around to go to bed.
"I hope you don't mind sleeping in my bed with me" Nick spoke softly as you followed him up the stairs and through the halls to his bedroom. "I don't want you to sleep on the couch and have one of the guys come down and disturb you in the morning"
"I don't mind" you whispered, walking into his dark room. Looking down at your clothes you start thinking it might be uncomfortable to sleep in jeans and a long sleeve shirt.
"Do you have anything I could change into" you say a bit louder than you meant to, making Nick jump.
Reaching into a drawer, he pulled out a big t-shirt and handed it to you. "Here" You mumble a thanks before you started undressing, totally disregarding Nick in front of you. You took off your jeans and socks then your shirt which left you in your bra and panties.
You heard Nick inhale sharply and looked up.
"Oops, sorry" you apologized, turning a slight hue of red. Throwing the shirt on, you start to turn around when Nick grabs your wrist and spins you around to face him. Before you could comprehend what was happening he pressed his lips into yours, caressing your back with one hand and gripping the back of your head with the other.
The kiss begins to get heated as you start heading to his bed, he falls onto the bed and he pulls you with him, so you collapse on top of him.
Nick pulls away to attach his lips to your neck and you run your hands through his hair as you close your eyes. Reaching for Nick's face you pull him back to your lips to reconnect the kiss, slowing down. Nick pulls away slightly and puts both hands on either side of your face gently to look into your eyes.
You two just sit there for what felt like ages until Nick spoke up.
"Be my girlfriend" he said cracking a smile. "Officially"
Your eyes widen as you realize he was serious.
Genuinely thinking it through you think about everything you've been through together and how much you actually feel for him. You loved him.
"Ok" you mirrored his smile. "I'll be your girlfriend, officially"
