Kurt -
You were Krist's half sibling, it being evident because of your dramatic height differences. When you were in 8th and Krist and Kurt were in 10th, you had gone with your mother to pick him up one day. After they had said goodbye, Kurt watched Krist walk to his car, and saw you pop your head out the window to smack him for no reason in particular.
Dave -
Your mom, who was 17 at the time, was working at a small coffee shop in Virginia. She was a teen mom, of course, having you when she was 14. Dave's mother came by frequently, but rarely ever brought Dave with her, and when she did, you were asleep in a booth, or with your grandmother. One day, she took Dave to work with her, he had a day off from school, and you had woken up early. You two instantly hit it off and scheduled for a play date. You'd been friends ever since.
Krist -
You were 15 years old, and your mother and you moved into a new house after her recent divorce from your father. She gained full custody and decided to move you from Philadelphia all the way to Aberdeen, as far from him as possible. Your new neighbors decided to invite you and her over for dinner, and when you were finished eating, Krist's mother suggested you and him go up to his room and hang out. You instantly bonded over his band posters and were connected at the hip ever since.
