Eleanor
In a time frame of 5 years, Eleanor had the life she always wanted, no mom telling her what to do, no bitches at school and no abusive stepdad.
Eleanor had graduated high school four years ago and didn't move on to college because her aunt and uncle didn't have money saved up for her. They told her that they would send her to college in a few years which is four now.
Eleanor was enjoying her new life with her uncle and aunt, her friends, and her boyfriend Matthew. Eleanor had never thought she would move on from her relationship with Park, but she did. she would always receive the occasional I-miss-you-please-come-back letter from him including others which she would place in a box stored need her bed. She would never bother to read them. she didn't want her old life back, even though she longed for Parks gentle fingers on her waist. She didn't want to read his letters because she didn't want to admit that she loved her life, she doesn't want to admit that she still loves Park. That she still loves their talks over the phone.
Eleanor hasn't talked to her mom and her little siblings in ages and she longed to but she never did. She didn't want to hear their dull tired voices begging her to come back. She didn't want to face her mom who must have felt ashamed for having a daughter who had ran away from her twice. Eleanor just wanted to hide under the blanket which was reality.
